No that's not at all .. he should know better how he works with people with her problems .. I have had enough time in mental facilitys and talking to doctors, socialworkers and lawyers .. and here me out when I'm saying that this is not the right way to do so , she finds herself like her attorney said, in a dangerous situation .. if he really wanted to help her then he would offer his help without the cameras rolling .. he only wants to continue his ongoing show in this exact moment .. if he doesn't want her in trouble and make her suffer in any kind of way, he dont would say or a or b .. who is he? She can decide for herself and even if it's not the best choices that she's made, it's her life !! That's not okey at all and would If been her attorney, he would hear from me because that's so unprofessional .. no therapist or whatsoever would pressure their clients in a situation like this !! Of the end of the day he and her goes on with their lifes, he goes right, she left .. so it shouldnt matter to him what she does or doesn't do!! This is a case of power abuse .. she only agreed because she felt trapped .. or she gets "help" and can go HOME after or she goes to JAIL !! these things you can do with you own children but not with somebody you dont even know for 10 minutes !!

She was thinking the show wouldn’t catch on and let her paint herself as the victim. While the guy she was actively victimizing wouldn’t have been able to defend himself. Luckily the show reached out to him after she claimed he didn’t want to be apart of it and got the real story straight. Not only from him but all her friends and family as well.

I have a family member who suffers from parasitosis, which is the unshakable belief that some kind of parasitic lifeform lives in the skin. No one can say anything to make them think otherwise. Scientific facts won't change someone's belief if they suffering from delusions. The only thing that will help is medication and therapy.

She doesn't even appreciate the help he is offering or accept that she has a problem. Some people need to hit rock bottom to get better and for some people that's going to jail. She needs a wake up call and Dr. Phil would do better to offer help to someone who really wants it and would benefit from it; she's an ungrateful, stuck-up witch and jail might actually be the splash of cold water she needs

Well he didn't have to go ham on her like that. There's a difference between remaining professional and stepping over bounds. The thing to say is "Well then please be seated and we can talk", not commanding someone to sit down like that. That was over bounds.

I don't know if I would call this bullying, more like a reality check for her. she had hurt so many people, she needed to be called out for her bad behavior. sure its sensationalized for T.V. but ultimately it was to get her to accept treatment.

I cannot believe he said he would talk about her. What a jerk. How unprofessional. If he had a license, it should be revoked! They made it sound like that subject would not be brought up, and it was. My point is this show is all about drama which makes money.

Ya know, I believe Doc on this one. However, imagine how easy it would be for him to promise whatever, then once the person arrives to the studio, himself and his whole team just backpedal. Making the guest look like a fool. All for situations just like this one. 🤷🏻‍♂️ just a thought. I would hope that has never been the case.
@Kenzieistired99
@Kenzieistired99 2 жыл бұрын
The only instances I've seen close to that are where companies chosen by the show renege on their own promises after taping and fail the guests, and sometimes the show doesn't help finding other help if it's been a while or something, but they do try to get the guest whatever help they promised

Well said Dr. Phil. Sometimes ya just gotta be straight. I do the same thing with my wife on occasion when she manipulates situations or plays victim or whatever. It works every time, and she sits and listens to reason, cos she knows when I'm serious and I never lose my cool, and she respects me for it. But I just try to give good support and it's impossible with irrationality. In the end she loves me more for being a strong and caring man. I think this lady just needed a good fatherly stern talking to.
