I didn’t see, but would holes in the bottom with a string in the plant area from a bottom plastic piece with water in it work better. The string would allow for water to go up into the plant… ?

This would mean bugs galore for me in NC.. had an aloe plant- somehow small bugs got into my soil indoors & couldn’t get rid of them. Same using bananas. Tried everything to keep them bugs out & all seems to just kill my plants.
