As a medical and cosmetic dermatologist, I have access to a lot of cosmetic treatments and procedures from Botox to fillers to various lasers. And I've been able to try many of them on myself! That's why I wanted to share this video to talk about all the cosmetic treatments I've have tried and share my experience with them.
Have you tried any of these cosmetic procedures? Tell me in the comments!

I really appreciate you talking about this! I feel like so many derms don't discuss the cosmetic treatments they have done and act like their current look comes solely from great skin care products and stuff like facials. I'm so here for the transparency and normalization of *subtle* cosmetic changes.

Some people lie that they don't have anything done because 'you can't notice it' -- that's annoying to me. People should be real like she's being here.

What are you talking about? She's beautiful and her procedures are clearly done well, but she looks very done. She may have not been very expressive prior to botox, but she has the tell tale frozen signs of botox now and the unnatural lip movement that comes with filler. I honestly don't care what people get done to themselves, but it's such a disservice for everyone to lie about "looking natural". If people are saying they didn't notice she's had work done, they are being polite as people should be.

Nice video. Around 35 years ago a dermatologist convinced me to try ablative laser. I did 3 course for red, brown and broken vessels. I've continued with retinols, great skin care, etc. Recently, secret RF. No surgery. a bit of cheek filler and botox. I am now 71 and people cannot believe I am over 40. Yes that little avatar photo us really me!

Your lips are the most natural “lip filler lips” I’ve ever seen! I ALWAYS notice telltale signs when people get lip filler. What do you think about new research that suggests filler can stay in the face for years and years? And that it can travel away from the injection site to other places? MRIs have proven this happens. Is that a concern for you? Thank you!

I was having a facial and started talking to my aesthetician and she said she used to do lip fillers for clients, but then felt it wasn't right for her. I've heard it can travel to your brain.. That's scary. But then it's one of those things I don't know how real it is 😳

I love appearing natural, but at 49, I also love looking "good for my age". I take really good care of myself, I am a vegetarian, I do not eat sugar, etc but I have also had botox, fillers, microneedling (multiple sessions) PDO threads, etc. All at separate times, I don't think there is anything wrong with it. I am very pro-anything that makes you feel good about yourself.

I appreciate your transparency. I’m 59, and have had several sessions of v-beam and pico. Love the results, and its quick! I’m in and out of my derms office in about 20 minutes. Although, v-beam smarts! Overall, I’m really happy with my skin. Except for my neck. And, I decided to get a lower face lift for that. It wish my neck didn’t bother me so much, but it does 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m happy that I made a decision about it. I’ve literally spent thousands on at home devices that I don’t use 🙄🙄

My compliments for a most informative and personal look at these treatments/therapies. This means so much coming from a Board Certified Dermatologist. You're gorgeous with gorgeous skin. I've been happy with Botox between the brows and for crows feet. I've been happy with Vollure for lip wrinkles and Voluma for cheeks and had a little Voluma I think on the jaw line. I am saving up for Ultherapy and considering RF microneedling. I'm in my 50's and spent a lot of time over the years in the sun without sunscreen. I just subscribed and can't wait to learn more! Thank you very much!

I've had fillers year ago and recently had my first Pelleve treatment on my neck. My second treatment is tomorrow and I'm already seeing results. My dr. is extremely good - like you, she's an artist when it comes to making the face look good and natural.

Thank you for sharing your experiences with the cosmetic procedures you have had done. The procedures that you described and seeing them on you makes me want to become your patient 😊. I have just turned 60 and do my best to look after my skin. I’m blessed with good genes and for more than 40 years I had sun allergy that kept me out of the sun. Now than I’m able to enjoy the sun, I apply an SPF, cover my head to provide shade to my face and I never sun bathe. I would love to try some of the collagen stimulating lasers and would be open to mild injectables. I am Canadian and live in The Netherlands where cosmetic dermatology has a way to go to meet North American standards.

Thank you so much for sharing your expert advice and experience with us. I’ve never had any cosmetic procedures done, but I’m very curious about them. I go back and forth on my feelings about whether or not I want to take the plunge. I would love it if you would do a video sharing practical advice on how to find a good derm, etc. I feel like I never quite know which professional should be doing which procedures and what questions should I ask to find the best professional. It’s all very intimidating to me.

Omg so subtle and conservative yet still polished and refined. That’s what I need ! I’m starting to get those smile creases you were referring to at about 11:25 and i want them gone but I’m so nervous to get that lumpy/doughy look (not you obviously but I’ve seen some other people that look so obvious especially in certain angles/lightings) and I’ve also read stories about filler migration that mortifies me . I can’t believe you do all your own injections, must be nice!

This was so beautifully explained so that I could not only understand the procedures as one ages but also can understand why it's done and for the purpose. Thank you for giving your time on all these services. The small procedures you have done really have enhanced your beautiful face. At age 32 I didn't need anything just due to genetics and having a little extra weight on. As I am now 57, yes I now need some of these. I think every woman is beautiful in their own way just as they age. I like the lite looks, nothing major is for me. As a mother to a 21 year old young woman, she is really into watching your videos on skin, hair and nail care and has taken way better care of her skin care than I did.
