doc can u tell me post operative instruction after amalgam restoration in short or in detail? I'm very very thankful if u can..

+surya mani singh We ask the patient not to have anything for atleast 30mins after restoration has been placed. For the next 24 hours the patient is advised not to eat sticky or hard food and avoid chewing from the restoration side. Do recall the patient for follow up.

Also give instructions for proper oral hygiene and inform them that they could feel sensitivity for few days.

Assalamo alaikum Hammas, primate spaces are present mesial to upper canine and distal to lower canine. So when the primary teeth are still present in mouth and the first permanent molar erupts it utilises this primate space to shift mesial and this is called the early shift since it happens early in time. However later in time when the permanent first molar shifts mesially after the deciduous one exfoliate it utilises the leeway space and hence called late shift. Hope it helps. dr. , if suppose , early shift of permanent molars utilised primate spaces, then what is the effect of leeway space of nancy in the 2nd transition period on occlusion. and.. is end on end in primary teeth is class 1 in permanent teeth.? cud plz clarify this ?
