Indian agencies have seized a Pakistani vessel off the coast of Gujarat and seized drugs worth ₹600 crore. Along with the seizure of 86 kilograms of methamphetamine and heroin from the vessel, the 14-member Pakistani crew has been arrested and are being interrogated. The operation, based on an intelligence input, was conducted by the Indian Coast Guard (ICG), the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and the Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) of Gujarat.
