I had a drug problem for years and he actually hit the nail on the head. You learn about drugs, and when you actually take it and you're completely fine and just feel good. Then it turns into a problem later.

@Cameron Surprisngly the basic psychedelics actually are, its a moral crime to have them illegal honestly. However not all, if you look at Datura (i think thats what its called?) one SINGLE SEED from the plant is more than enough to OD and kill you, then again thats not at all common, but indoles like N-BOME are pretty common and scary… as long as people can afford a 20$ testing kit for their psychs or they grow / make them themselves they have nothing to worry about

Appalachia literally has millions of functional methheads, believe it or not. The average person under 40 that I meet here is fighting a meth problem and still makes it to work. I know people don't believe that but if you live in a rural area in the Se you know that it's true. Not advocating meth use obviously lol

Spent years in NV, AZ, NC, WI. Plenty of amphetamine, opioid, alcohol, benzo/ssri, etc. users everywhere Iv'e been that are just every day people living life. A small percentage of them are the cliche depiction from the propaganda that's pushed. Not trying to downplay the destructive nature of hard drugs but I do find it frustrating and or amusing listening to people spout off their "knowledge" about drugs they've never even done before. 35 years old, 23 of them spent drinking and doing drugs, btw

I started taking tramadol when I developed bursitis in my shoulder, worst decision of my life. Once the addiction develops then the painkillers cause more pain than they suppress. I was stuck in that cycle for 15 years in agonising pain, after a 8 month weening process I'm now on my 4th week with no painkillers and I feel amazing.

They sell Tramadol OTC in Mexico. They got these small shops stacked with Viagra and Tramadol at tourist spots. Used to sometimes take them in highschool. Not really worth taking for the high or the pain relief same with Hydrocodone. I give it a 1/10.

I've met a family of functional meth heads. Grandma, grandpa, mom, dad, both kids. All did meth, had jobs, payed there taxes and had all of their teeth. It was a friend of mine's family and his dad would even stir the crystals into his coffee in the morning. I don't use it or wish to but it was definitely intriguing to witness.

Fent is dangerous. During a chemotherapy session the first one, they needed to access my chemo port they had just placed the day prior in my chest, by grabbing the fresh suture with their fingers and pushing a very large needle through it. That was the worst pain I've ever felt in my life. They gave me 4mg through iv and I was out of it. Hit like a brick wall immediately and it was difficult to breathe on the come up. I had to consciously tell myself to breathe in and out with my sternum. After that, I was comfortable. Its a really good medical tool but street use is extremely dangerous.

Honestly some people view all drugs in the same light and its baffeling. Like thing like acid and shrooms are almost impossible to be addicted too and very hard to do yourself long term negitive damage with. The fact they will sell at 18 year old (im uk btw) as much alcohol as they can afford but acid is illegal baffles me

@@Rhycebell I wouldn't say almost impossible, just because something like THC and psychedelic compounds aren't physically addictive, mental dependency and long-term structured dependency(e.g. taking shrooms once every several months to "reset") are still possible. Also, HPPD is a very real and incredibly serious side-effect of psychedelic compounds that is not often enough discussed. From taking too much acid and shrooms and scopolamine in HS gave me voices and permanent tracer-like visuals that will most likely not go away short of using long-term anti psychotic medications

I was literally about to say this same thing. I didn't do it for years but the thing was I had always had this stance against doing meth but then I tried it and I was even more afraid then before because I knew my body and my addiction tendency and I loved it lol so I was like afraid of what I would start doing not about doing the drugs themselves. I did the same thing with coke, but it was only hard to come off the first couple days after that I was fine.

THC 99% diamonds are not like crack. You just need to use way less of it to get high. It's way more healthy for you because you're not inhaling smoke you're inhaling pure THC product with nothing else in there. Other than edibles it's the cleanest possible way to smoke. A little late to the party but I can weigh in as a doctor. Propofol is given at the point of anaesthesia (as an induction agent), not as a pre-med. Midazolam is the pre-med that feels awesome; I remember getting that prior to surgery a couple of times and getting really giggly before that blank period

The thing with Heroin is you can take just enough to stop you withdrawing and feeling normal so it’s no problem to work as long as you’re not going into withdrawals. A bag of heroin on a morning (a bag here in the U.K. at the time was .3 of a gram) was enough for me to work a full shift and I’d still be good until 8 or 9 in the evening then I’d have another bag. It got to the point I was even getting high I was taking it just to feel normal, I wanted to stop but was petrified of that week of hell I went through 9 years of misery to avoid a week of hell.

Fentanyl is 80-100 times stronger than morphine. Heroin is (diacetylmorphine) or basiclly 2 morphine molecules held together. That should give everyone a good idea how crazy strong fentanyl is.

Spent most of my life commercial fishing in AK and can confirm there is a large percentage of methheads that try that industry; most boats won't hire junkies or speed freaks but every now and then... yikes they're a nightmare to work with and are about as subtle as a bull at a banquet and we try and get them off the boat asap. There are some methhead operations that anyone with a brain will stay away from working on, but the best operations I've worked on most just like weed and some beer here and there. Make money, stay safe and go home. Can't spend your money if you're dead. Love the podcast guys. Cheers!

I was a functional heroin addict for 10 years running my own painting and decorating business. I didn’t let my habit get out of hand and as long as I had a bag to smoke before I went to work I was good. I was already off the tools and my work was in the office and doing estimates. I ended up addicted to heroin from been prescribed morphine for to long then I was cut off flat no tapering down just one day I went for a repeat prescription and was told nope not this time you shouldn’t need them. I’d been given them for 10 weeks and I later found out it takes less than 2 weeks to become addicted.

Yep…I was in the hospital for diverticulitis, and when I was released they gave me a script for 90 15mg oxy’s, with 2 refills…I just took them as told and for legit pain…then after a few months my refill ran out and I was violently ill…Dr never told me anything about that…I was young and this was in the early 2000s, before a lot of the people knew to tread lightly…the next 4 yrs I chased that shit daily….truly awful

@@iepineapple some are more euphoric than others. Meth is way more euphoric than adderall and I've also taken amphetamines that are only used to treat narcolepsy which I have almost no euphoria. MDMA is my favorite and most euphoric in my opinion, shit blows your mind.

Yes woody your right. My mom was that functioning meth addict for 20 years without anyone knowing until eventually the drug took over and it became very clear she was on meth. But for 20 years she was very high functioning hide it from all of her family including her own son!

I remember I last did it in like 2016, and at that time there were all articles and studies and shit about "Acid Flashback trips", where somebody who tried it gets a sudden like second trip again after months or years. Never heard of anybody having those irl apart from those keyboard storytellers.

@@nickmuffin1722 yeah, what I have heard on this in particular is that the molecule stores in your spine, and there's apparently reports of people having "flashbacks" after they've cracked their neck and released it in their body again. But aside from that I have no idea nor have I experienced a flashback.

Im a bit late to the chat but just wanna tell there are people who use drugs and just got to work and live their lifes normaly. Im living in Austria and here we (drug addicts like me) get Drugs from the pharmacy for free (when i say for free i mean here public healthcare is so good that everyone is insured whitout paying more then 30€/month) the drugs we get (for example Substitol/Compensan) are pure Morphine and we get them and use them i.v. Some people just swallow them like theyre supposed too, but the majority is shooting it up. Those preparates are even made so that you are able to cook them up and use them safely intravenously. And like i said, im living a normal life. Im going to work everyday, am in a relationship, "pay my taxes" as you would say (tax systems just so different in most countries over here in europe) while shooting up 100% pure morphine multiple times a day, everyday here in Austria. So now you probably know something u didnt before. Have a nice day. I know i will! ;)

THC crystal has been around since the 80s, its strong and is shorter lasting, joey diaz was talking about it, it was a early form of THC concentrate between 50 to 85%, the crystalite is a new version thats far far purer

If you listen to Joey, you'll know that thc crystal wasn't THC, he said it was like angel dust or horse tranquilizer, but drug dealers would call it THC crystal and say they got it by boiling the stems, and sifting for the powder (which is bullshit). The THC crystal these guys are talking about are THCA crystals which are 95 to 99 percent.

U have to be careful microdosing cuz if it’s dosed wrong which is east to do u will end up tripping balls and possibly end up in the hospital it’s happened to me and friends before. Only once out the hundred or so times I did acid but too much is the worst experience ever trust me

An alternative to painkillers is high dosages of kratom. Its literally almost exactly the same thing and you can get the kratom from most smoke shops.
