BPure at Dollar Tree has a dupe of Neutrogena Hydroboost Face Cream also. It comes in a flat jar and hand gel in a plastic tube. I can't tell difference, and I've been using Hydroboost for years. Also, it's the same product in the tube and the jar. Good stuff for $1.25 💋

The hydroboost water gel cream is great but if you want a dupe for it. Krogers brand has a watergel hydroboost. It’s usually right next to it at the store (Kroger or Fred Meyers depending on where you live) it’s amazing and cheaper

I could definitely use the prayer. I have two rare cancers that are incurable and the doctors think I’m having a third local recurrence in my neck. I will be at a specialty hospital in a couple weeks for biopsy and surgery…that is, if I can scrape together the money to go and for treatment. I also have some very bad, personal things going on and I need to be approved to buy a house with no down payment or my children and I will be homeless.

That’s the great thing about homeschooling, you don’t have to go at a set pace. My oldest graduated high school 2 weeks before he turned 16. With my youngest, he is severely dyslexic. So reading was a huge struggle. He was in 2nd grade before he could read. Just go with what your kids are showing you they can do. Sending you lots of prayers for you & your family.

The neutrogena hydro boost is my night cream HOLY GRAIL! Nothing else works like it for my oily, very acne prone skin. I struggled for such a long time trying to find something moisturizing, but not too heavy or pore-clogging at a drugstore price. And oddly enough, my sister with polar opposite skin issues (extreme dryness from eczema) also has loved the unscented version as a day cream. I hope they never stop making it!

Revlon blushes are so good. My grocery store discontinued Revlon 😢 but I bought Oh Baby blush for like $4. Very light pink. I’m thinking this will never show up. It’s the most beautiful light pink blush. Also, I really like Maybelline blush in Nude. It’s the blush where you’re not sure if it’s there or not. Just this beautiful wash of color. Drugstore can do blush.

I have discovered a couple of new products you may like as a fellow redhead with a similar skin tone. One is infallible brows volumizing mascara in auburn and the other is the nyx wonderstick. The shade I got is coral and deep peach.

Zabrena when you had the dupe for the Dr. Jart product it reminded me that I wanted to ask you to please consider finding a dupe for the Dr. Jart BB cream. I love this bb cream but man is it expensive. In fact any dupes for BB creams is appreciated since I am now in my 50 and have left most foundations behind. Lastly so happy to hear your kiddos are in home school. Every child I know that does homeschooling (and there is a lot) are so much more advanced than students from traditional schools. I studied at the Montessori School overseas, and we had three to four grades in one room. Best learning experience ever. We were allowed to be ourselves. Sometimes, I couldn't stay in one classroom for over an hour, and I was allowed to walk out and get some fresh air and come back. I finished my studies for that day, and all was will. 😊 m Maybe I'm a rebel but I disagree with our school system in the U.S❤

Homeschooling can be individual tutoring. I homeschooled my 3 kids and they were all so different. I am grateful for all that I learned about learning styles from homeschool conferences.

Zabrena, that Revlon powder blush in Rosey Rendezvous looks just like the Lancome Aplum powder blush. I used to love that but stopped buying it because it costs too much. ULTA also made a shade just like that in their own brand of blush.

I wanted to tell you that the Neutrogena hydro boost has been my holy grail for almost 15 years and I just found something that beats it. 🤯 It is the Dermalogica water gel moisturizer. I picked it up during Ulta's sale last year for 50% off making it just a few dollars more than Neutrogena. I have not been tempted to go back to Neutrogena at all. The thing about this is I use even less for the same results. One tube lasted me almost 6 months and it is very lightweight but moisturizing at the same time. It might be out of budget for people but just thought I would share my experience. I’m hoping it goes on sale again because I cringe at the thought of paying $50 for moisturizer, but if it lasts 6 months I can maybe justify it lol

I remember a teacher telling me. Children usually excel in one or the other. The Sciences or the Arts by that they inc language and literate. With my children that is exactly what happened. My son raced ahead in the Sciences,my daughter the Arts. But, they helped each other out with homework and projects.Giving each other another perspective on the subjects. My son now teaches the Sciences in secondary school, my daughter is a primary school teacher.

I love the Nyx pale pink corrector but money is tight---so, since I already have cool pink LA Girl corrector, I'll lighten that up with white mixing medium. My former neighbor homeschooled her two daughter, but made certain they had after school activities that took them out of the house to also learn then reinforce socialization skills with same/similar age children.

Home school is great. But my parents did struggle figuring out socializing with other kids our age after school time. Also learning to make new friends as we got older. Because to learn to socialize and find out how to learn to meet people is so important.

My family could use some prayer especially my mother. She's having problems with her legs and cannot walk. We took her home a couple of weeks ago and all her kids are taking turns taking care of her. We're really hoping that with some rehab she will be able to walk again.

It didn’t work for my son, because he had many developmental delays that I didn’t have the tools to overcome, but I stand behind homeschooling as a solid choice for many families. I WISH my own mother had homeschooled me. I would have thrived in that educational environment. ❤

We pulled our younger son out of the public school system in our town when we found a small Christian school. He has flourished and is doing so well. He went from "i hate school" at the beginning of 2023 to, "i love school" when he says it now. The school has been such a blessing for us. We couldn't be more pleased. We tried to homeschool him one year.... we lasted about 3 months! But this new school is amazing. It's like a Christian homeschooling. We love it. Im thrilled that your kids are flourishing as well. Its almost great to hear kids that are thriving.

As a retired veteran homeschool mom, i can tell you that moving your kids on is absolutely ok. My son, now 33, got in trouble when in regular school cimuz he finished all his work & caused problems cuz he was bored. I graduated him a year early! He is now very successful & plans to homeschool his 11 & 12 year old daughters! Good video!

My kids went to public school, but we supplemented with our own unschooling "curriculum." For example, my daughter was big into dance for a few years. She started classes at four, and then we started getting books from the library, going to the art museum to see paintings of dancers, even watching musicals with dancing. There, she developed her love of Degas' art, which led to her learning about his contemporaries, etc. Or, if your child has a favorite bible story, they can learn about the area where it took place, what it is called now, what kinds of plants and animals live there, the money used. We aĺso learned a lot about music. We started with the book "Zin!, Zin!, Zin! A Violin. Then we would play games like what instruments do you hear in this music? We listened to tons of classical music, show tunes, etc. Our little music theory classes had an unexpected consequence, though. At church one Sunday, one of our members was teaching a mini lesson about how the whole of something can be better than the parts. It was around Christmas, so he was using Silent Night as his example. He started with bass line, and the children were supposed to raise their hand when they thought they knew what it was. He got about a half dozen notes in, and my daughter, who was about seven, popped her hand up with the correct answer! She got her invitation to choir in about seven years. It really is amazing how far they can get without being held back by all the distractions and unnecessary demands on the school day. Plus all the cool field trips you can have.

If they are advancing rapidly, if you can, fit in field trips and fun things to do. My kids were like that; they were advancing so much that we were able to take time and do some fun field trips to museums, historical sites and they learned without realizing it was educational LOL. It was a blast! We schooled year-round with 3 weeks off for summer break. That was easier and worked better for us than taking an entire 3 months off during summer. God bless you!

Even though I didn't homeschool, I did always work with my children. I loved to learn, still do, and I attempted to instill that in my children as well. Once, at the doctor's office waiting for the doc to come in, my son was under the exam table and we were doing of all things simple algebraic formulas. Mind you he was all of maybe 5 or 6 and were doing some adding. I asked him what x would be 3 + x=6 and he gave me the right answer. I love how children, when given the chance, will far exceed our expectations. Continue doing what you're doing. They will be better for it. Help them to excel where their passion is. By the way today he works for Ford, an engineer in computer design and is doing well for himself. God is good!

My younger son used to help my older son with his homework! I wish they'd do more letting kids go at their own pace!!
