Drum and Disk Sander Homemade - wood machine - Thickness Sander

Күн бұрынdrum sander and disk sander project. Thickness sander Wooden machine. The drum is made in mdf. Is powered with a 2 1/4 hp motor - 220 v single fase.
The disk have about 50 cm (20 inch) diameter.

I worked in a pattern shop years ago and found that large disk sander the most versatile tool. When the owner first showed me it I couldn't believe the accuracy he got with it.

Great drum sander! Like the way the table is raised/lowered and the bearings use to keep the sanding disc supported. Thanks you for sharing and the great ideas.

adding guide bearings to the outside of the disc to keep it tracking and supported is a great idea!!... im going to incorporate that idea into my disk sander project.. thumbs up!!

Great thicknesser. They are expensive to buy. To stop the paper clogging I lift the cover and rub a plastic dressing stick on the top of the drum. My paper then lasts a very long time. If I rely only on dust extraction it only takes a few passes to clog the paper. Same with all my other sanders, disc and belt.

+Adilson David Obrigado. Tenho de facto utilizado bastante. Motor: 3000 rpm, mas reduz para metade no rolo.

Cada vez menos ha bons profissinais a trabalhar em madeira, e os que existem utilizam métodos e técnicas já antigas. Por exemplo uma pessoa com uma serra de mesa da fazer milhentas coisas, Finger joints, dovetais, ranhorar( dados), sleds , e ate molduras por exemplo para as sancas ou mesmo quadros, mas cá, serra de mesa e para cortar e pronto. Continua assim a mostra o que CA se pode fazer. Abraco
