Outside of a corps repertoire, they will often prepare an encore piece. This is a compilation of encore pieces (or parade tunes) that appeared on the Billboard Top 100.

These are from the modern era of DCI. But I'll never forget Bridgemen's In The Stone and 27th Lancers' Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is. That was groovin' music.

Why in the world wouldn't you use the clips from their actual shows when they played these songs? "In the stone" was played so many times by corps like the Bridgemen and SCV. 1992's "When a man loves a woman" by the Blue Devils brought the house down. A missed opportunity, but thanks for making the list anyway.

Because a lot of these songs weren't played in shows. Crown didn't play "Get on Your Feet" in their 2013 show, neither did the Cavaliers play "Africa" in 2019

@@dciaudio I think he's saying for the songs that WERE played in shows, you might as well show them... Actually being played in the show.

2014 Blue Knights would have been a much better choice for the encore clip of Can't Take My Eyes Off of You. Just saying

If only the repertoire would become more fan friendly and recognizable while at the same time being competitive, that would be the best scenario. Maybe more people would buy tickets and the shows would become more popular like the glory days of drum corps. One can only hope.

that is the point when you seek out the compositions in original format. I thank drum corps for introducing me to music I never knew was out there. If I wanted to hear hits I would go to a football game. Remember the drum corps kids who are not popular because they listen to weird music. They grow up to be the innovators and leaders in the workplace by transferring the skills and ability to adapt like when they change the show.

@pete6099 I don't value your opinion, I'm giving a reccomendation. If you don't like it, then why waste time watching it. Didn't think you would think much of it but clearly you have to make yourself look cool by making it clear of you not caring.
