It's been a little while since I've done a Steely Dan tune here, and I decided to try out some of the material they recorded with session great Jim Gordon on the Pretzel Logic album. A lot of Jim's drums parts are reserved and simple, much like Porcaro who often cited him as an inspiration, but as I've said before with these so called "easy" parts, it's all about the feel. There are also some great fills that follow the rhythms of the melody in this tune that help guide the song.
