Let us revisit a key milestone of DRUM FENG 's journey thus far with snippets of music and performance taken from their inaugural concert titled, “DRUM FENG: UNLEASHED” held at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre 新加坡华族文化中心 on 15 December 2019.
It was an amazing 2019 for us as we officially established ourselves as a representative arts tenant at the SCCC promoting the Chinese arts. Looking back, it was a blistering start from the get-go; with musical collaborations, live performances, conducting of drum education and fitness sessions and finally, culminating with our first-ever ticketed and full-house concert!
“Never say never!”
This ‘almost’ impossible dream was brought to reality by a group of amazing individuals passionate in their art and the stage - all sharing a common goal to persevere in drumming and spreading their joy in this artform to others around them.
A big shoutout and thank you to the many supporters that were with us on this journey: long-time friends and new acquaintances, families, the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre 新加坡华族文化中心 and the National Youth Council Singapore.
We, DRUM FENG, will continue to strive and persevere with everyone’s well-wishes and endeavour to continue sharing our passion in drumming with everyone!
