Drum Hack To Quickly Get A Fat Snare Drum
#shorts
This is my first KZfaq-shorts, where I'm showing you a drum hack to quickly get a fat snare drum. This is a great trick if you don't own a BFSD-head or any cut out drum heads laying around.
I hope you enjoy it!

Um, just throw an old/unused head upside down right on top of the snare and play the underside of the loose head. Super fat 70s/electronic sound in half the time and no risk of damaging the drum.

Check some of my older videos, I do just that 😉 I like it when I play second line New Orleans drumming. But with the tuning technique, the drum won’t get muffled my something on it. The attack will be preserved and you get a fat tone out of it. The drum will be fine🤙

Not necessarily! It might, if you really crank the tension rods a lot on your drum and depending on the quality of the rim. Rims get warped over time anyway and a small warp doesn’t affect the sound too much (I haven’t changed rims on any of my snares and all still sound great) 😃
