I have more and more Waves plugins that stopped working for no reason, so I decided to buy more hardware and less plugins. Also using subscriptions for mixing is not a wise decision imo. How are you going to open up those sessions in a couple of years if you don’t have the subscription anymore? Only way is to subscribe again even if it’s just for one session.

it's weird that they only allow third-party via VST3 and not AAX...

Pro Tools is the only app I know that uses AAX plug-ins. While the StudioVerse plug-in may be AAX, the plug-in itself--rather than the DAW--is hosting other plug-ins so AAX probably isn't an option.

Another thing they did was remove the ability to offload to a DSP server. 😡 (if they haven’t in this version, that are soon).
