Jackson Maddox breaks down his method when it comes to mixing drums. Jackson graduated from the Studio Engineering program at Blackbird Studio in December 2020 and then was brought on by CCM Recording Studios. Now Jackson has gone on to work with countless musicians and continues to grow his influence in the Nashville music scene.
The drums being recorded in this session are none other than the brand new WTS Epiphany Series Matte Black drums. WTS (Welsh Tuning System) drums are changing the drumming industry as we speak with their revolutionary Welch Tuning System™. A system of pulleys and cable brings both heads into tune with the turn of a single handle. No more tension rods. No more drum key!
And finally, everything today has been recorded at Nashville's newest recording space, Garden Groove. Garden Groove is a place for 🥁musicians, 🎙️podcasters, and 🎶creators to come and do what they do best in a quiet and focused environment. With tip-top soundproofing and audio treatment, this place is not only amazing to the eyes but also to the ears.
Along with being a place where people can collaborate and record, this is also going to be a place where you can learn from the best entrepreneurs and musicians that Nashville has to offer. Starting with the first event on September 30th, we have some of the best and brightest coming in to speak on everything from drumming to mental health to the music business.
