You can argue this is Bruce Dickinson's Greatest Vocal Performance..., This song has a lot of words, the speed and clarity of his singing is basically Perfect.., The way he sings over the guitar in the chorus..., unreal, plus holding that final note as the song ends...., His Lungs are made of Titanium......, closest thing we have to a real life Jedi..., Expert Pilot, Master Swordsman, Can Hypnotize Thousands of people at the same time..........

Absolutely love this song, especially live. One of Bruce's strongest vocal performances. His range, control, clarity of diction is all outstanding. All supported by his amazing stance, fully rooted into that stage. This entire performance is one of my favorites from the boys. Up the Irons!🤘

Make no mistake, this is one of the toughest songs that Bruce Dickinson sings. He’s plants his feet and stays right in the pocket. One of the very few he isn’t racing around the stage. He gives it all, concentrating on delivering the vocals. Perfection. Thanks for the reaction.

That's what this drummer is most famous for, his single pedal footwork. He can smash out repeated triples with such acuracy, you'd think it was a double pedal.

I saw this song live in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Typical mid Maiden set, an epic story. I too sing every song live. I was winded myself. But seeing Bruce bark like this, was beautiful

This song obviously demands all and everything from Bruce: No additional artistics, no running or climbing around. He just stands and delivers, completely focusing to get the message across. Hat off, sir, that is mastership.

The teddy is Sooty - from the Sooty & Sweep show (a kids TV show here in the UK). Pretty sure he was a guest back in the 80s and has had him on the front of the kit ever since. Sometimes he changes outfits depending on stage theme etc but Sooty is always there. One of my top Maiden songs this one, thanks for doing it! And yes, always single kick with Nicko, except for face in the sand from Dance of Death

Yeah he appeared on the show and played the drums to Sooty and Sweep. In the following gigs, the audience all started throwing Sooty puppets onto the stage, and it became a bit of a thing with him ever since.

This is one of my favorite Maiden songs from the post-reunion period. I love the acoustic buildup and how it just explodes. Great composition from Steve and Janick, and some challenging vocal lines…notice Bruce doesn’t move from his spot and concentrates the whole time.

Nicko has said that when he sits at his kit, he can instantly tell if his toms or cymbals are even an inch or two out of position. It’s all muscle memory for him, so the way his ride cymbal obstructs those two toms is by design, and he knows how to work around it provided everything is set up to his expectations.

It's Sooty, from the kid's TV show Sooty. Niko taught Sooty how to play the drums in a show in 1984 (chaos ensued). Ever since, Sooty has been on the bass drum and they dress him up to match the album cover.

@@alexandremaireno-ni4ecand he hated it because when they played back the drum track in the studio he could tell which was his right foot and which was his left, as his left was quieter… their producer did some studio magic and pulled the volume up on his left foot. He revealed this in an interview with “The Pub Landlord” Al Murray.

There is or used to be 2 fluffy mascots, sooty and sweep, sooty used to be on his A kit and sweep in his B kit as they leapfrogged each other around the globe.

I pretty much gave up on listening to new Maiden material after No Prayer For The Dying so I don't think I've ever heard this song before, but I really enjoyed it. Maiden never fail to bring it when they perform live!

This is one song of Maiden with nearly no understanding the lyrics. Bruce sings so high and fast. 😂 As a german with poor english knowledge it is realy hard. 🙄

Hello and greetings from Poland. I have been watching Your channel for some time when my most liked bands were mentioned but for Iron Maiden there is special place in my heart so from what I know and learned as drummer that Nicko McBrain is using only one single foot pedal. The craziest song to play on single foot is "Face in the Sand"... Please check that one and You will be blown away...
