People are upset that Jack-O's theme wasn't more badass. But give the girl a break, she got the Good End in the story. She deserves a nice happy track.

How does Birthday Train has more sauce than this song and isn't even a battle track? My mans put the sauce with his drums and made it so much better. I still like the song but not as a battle theme.

Jack-O’s theme is probably the most different song compared to the rest of the Strive Soundtrack. Even May’s theme isn’t quite like this song is.

in case nobody else mentioned it: apparently a recurring riff in Perfection Can't Please Me actually borrows from Jack-O's previous theme back in Guilty Gear Xrd, Juno, specifically the riff from 0:13

That riff is her Diva motif, most of the Valentines have some sort of Diva motif in their songs even if the melody is changed slightly

Artificial human created by That Man to merge with Justice's body to essentially revive Aria (Sol's love interest) and stop Elphelt from doing the same to destroy humanity or something.

super brief explanation is she is a character created by magic by a guy who felt bad for turning his friends wife into a monster that his friend had to kill. The monster comes back and if Jack-o combines with her, jack-o becomes his wife again. eventually they do but his wife doesn't really want to return so jack-o remains in control while the wife remains in her head with the possibility of taking over completely anytime she wants. Story gets continued in Strive but GG story is a giant confusing mess but it's good and the lore is plentiful. There's a lot more to Jack-o but that was the tldr

It's a common occurence with the Guilty Gear Soundtrack, since the lyrics aren't made by someone who speaks a lot of English (I think thats the case, so don't bet your money on it)

It's honestly the purest form of Engrish where having full context helps you make sense of what is basically how the English language would be like if it had the purely emotional and poetic structure of the Japanese language, where the words make only "just enough" sense while the way it's spoken brings the clarity.
