Omg…I used to write letters to Blake early 90s. Unfun did me in…then the other albums came… Damn, my beloved mother for chucking that box of all my band letters. Thank you, Blake for always indulging me. The FLOWBEE lives on!! He’d know what I mean! 😎🥰 Last time I saw them was at Maxwell’s for 24 Hr Tour…he sent me a postcard for let me know they’d be in town. I got a Lyft inPDX years back and he was blasting Jawbreaker. Enough said.

I really wish chris was more energetic....but they will always be my number favorite band. I also met Blake in NJ.. greatest moment of my life.

Texas Is The Reason and this band was about to get mainstreamed instead they broke up.

Galaxie 500 turned down a few million dollars and broke up. Not everyone is cut out for that life and pressure that comes with major label fame.

He's always been pretty thin. Not much weight beside the booze belly. They sound great and the band is tighter than ever honestly.

Why am I the only one that thinks Blake voice and guitar sound like shit. Blake doesn't sound like his old self (to me). And that is ok. But don't pretend to think you can still do it correctly. Chris and Adam sound beyond fine to me though. Also not a fan of much the bass has been placed in the background of these songs compared to the album versions.

@Plotte no idea if you'll see this. If it makes you feel any better, when I saw them in Chicago last year, the bass was so thunderous my guts were rumbling. I doubt this and I apologize if this is inappropriate, but would he be interested in talking to a fan/a mini-interview? Fellow bass guitarist here, and he's been one of my biggest inspirations since I was very young. Also, are you the "Never Mind the Bullocks" sister?
