Drumstick Lauki Soup with Cheesy Toasts | Boost Your Immune System with this soup | लौंकी का सूप
Introduce this nutritious soup to your family along with cheesy toasts so that even kids enjoy this new soup without any inhabitions. It’s really yum, and my family really loved it.
Ingredients :
4 drumsticks cut into small pieces (remove hard skin)
1.5 cup water
100 gm finely chopped bottle gourd (dudhi/lauki)
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
Salt as per taste
Some grated cheese
Some finely chopped colorful bell pepper
Some chilli flakes
Some oil/butter (to roast bread)
2 bread slices
Some crushed black pepper
1 lime juice
Method :
Heat up the pressure cooker, add 4 drumsticks cut into small pieces (remove hard skin) with 1/2 cup water
Add approx 100 gm finely chopped bottle gourd (dudhi) with 1/2 cup water
Add 1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
Add salt as per taste
Cover the lid and cook up to 2 whistles
Further to make cheesy toast, take a small bowl
Add some grated cheese
Add some finely chopped colorful bell pepper
Add some chilli flakes
Add a pinch of salt and mix it
Now heat up the pan, drizzle some oil/butter
Place 2 bread slices on it
Add cheese mixture on them
Cover the lid and roast on low flame until cheese melts
Further open the cooker lid and stir mixture with the help of hand whisker
Keep stirring vigorously to mash veggies and make it pulpy
Take another pan and sieve mixture with a strainer (add 1/2 cup water to sieve)
Add some crushed black pepper
Add 1 lime juice and cook until soup starts getting bubbles
Turn off the stove and take it in a serving bowl
