Much prefer the XX version but to those slating her for copying it, if you actually did the smallest bit of research you'd see that Jamie Smith (the XX) was a listed writer on this song. Really, it's no biggie. Still, for me, XX's Intro was best left alone but fair play.

honestly. This song reminds me of a bond I had with this one guy, him and I were always on and off for 4 years straight. He did me wrong so many times and I always forgave him. Because I real deal loved him more then I’ve ever loved anyone. But the minute I was over him and was moving forward. He came back, but lied to me at the start already so I knew what was gonna happen. And I wasn’t gonna be the one who looked stupid. So I just gave him a lil taste of what he did to me all these years. I led him forward for like 3 days and then dropped it like it was nothing. And then when he got mad at me about it. And started saying how bad of a person I was. And I said back. “I’m the bad guy bec I showed you what you showed me over these years. It’s okay that you always put bitches above me? That I ruined everything right? well I didn’t ruin what we had. You did. So take blame for your own shit.” I feel so stupid for ever letting myself go back to him every time he’d want me back after the one he really wanted didn’t want him. 😕 But now I just hope he’s doing good in life and he’s happy, I know I am. I have someone who’s been treating me better then he ever did even when he really wanted me.
