I think we need to remember that this is a slice of life. Think of all the things you do that no one sees. Grandma likes to work in the gardens but she gets a lot of help when the camera isn't on. We are being shown how strong grandma is and she is proud of being healthy and strong. Many people like to contribute even when they are older and grandma still has a lot of life to live. ☺

It is actually a great placing for them. The rains will naturally wash things away and to lower ground so it stays dry enough. They have the hillside to hang out in and there are areas to have dust baths and water for the geese. I have seen them clean up that area several times through out their videos. We just don't see it all the time. The animals are quite healthy and they actually know how to clean themselves. I say these things coming from experience so I don't say them without knowledge.
