There is one variety of persimmon that will grow where I live. I hope to buy a few trees next year. I think the first tree that you guys tried to harvest from would benefit from the top getting some pruning. You could prune so the canopy is a little lower and it will strengthen the lower branches and you can harvest all those persimmons. That way into the future you will be able to reach the persimmons easily. I am a horticulturalist and have pruned many trees over the years. I think all of you and the tree would be happy if you pruned it a little. The rule is 1/3 from the top and shape it nicely.

I love persimmons. There two kinds. I like the one you have. But when my tongue touch the skin of persimmons it get funny feeling. I might be allergy to the skin. 👍❤️

I have never eaten a persimmon. They look similar to a papaya. The kids love them. 💖

I tried this fruit when I was a little girl. I remember it being orange in color and when I bit into it, It was furry kinda and a little sour. It immediately puckered the inside of my mouth. Never had another one. So I noticed something, when Baby Yike was attempting to get to the fruit, Ningning said, "why is he pulling up on me?" Yike is so cute wants to taste the persimmon. SisterLee, you should let him have a taste. I envy both of you for growing many types of fruits to enjoy. Eating the fruits is enough as a meal for the day. Which part of China do you live? After the pandemic clears we can holiday to pay you a visit and enjoy the fruits in your orchard at your village.
