We visited a good gold dredging claim that had no water so ended up running a couple drywashers ,metal detectors, vacuum and a rota hammer.

Great video guys. I can't wait to find some water to do a little prospecting in. A quick question for you. I just had a friend return from the Prescott area. I set him up with a few of my gold pans and a few small hand tools to dig with. He said there was a sign driving it that read "hands and pans only". Is this something new. I know there are areas like that in California, but wasn't expecting here in Arizona.

That sounds like lynx creek area ,they had to regulate it because there would be holes the size of motor homes.

That’s a makita XRH04 18 volt battery operated roto hammer/drill. I love it I bought it for breaking up bedrock and hardened material. The Milwaukee is just as good but I have makita tools for work so I didn’t have to buy batteries and charger. Only complaint I have is the batteries are expensive other than that they work great

Hey man I just subscribed to your channel. How does the dry sluice work? I assume it is from Keene Engineering? I spoke to Pat the owner the other day and decided to go with the Mini Max Sluice but almost got this one instead. Please let me know

Thanks 🙂 the drywasher is actually a royal explorer, it's somewhat compact and I prefer the simplicity and how much cheaper the $30 mat under the riffles is compared to a $300 keen replacement. The riffles are reversed ,in other words they don't create an eddy behind catching gold.Instead it relies on air and vibration. With a drywasher compared to a mini max you can move several times the material in a day.The only thing your limited to dry material maybe slightly damp.Ive recovered alot more gold drywashing and vacuuming bedrock than ever sluiceing. They have combo packages where you get a leaf blower vac system and drywasher though pricey. If you can find a used drywasher and a $100 leaf blower that's better. You can also vacuum with a generator and shop vac getting more suction. Our early videos show this.

Great video!! I don't know if you have ever worked the Roadrunners claims near Morristown but was wondering what I can expect to find on average with a good days work with a drywasher. I bought the middle sized Royal and have been puting about 40 buckets through it in a day. My best gold take so far I about 1/4 of a gram. I don't know if I should be looking for better ground or is this about an average day in the desert. I know it varies alot but I feel that this is the best I can do on these claims. Thanks Red

Thanks ! I've only been down to that area a couple times, seems like you really have to go off the beaten path maybe carry dry washer a bit further.I have heard of poeple working old benches and getting up to a couple grams, lol then moving a few feet and finding next to nothing..hit and miss ,just get lucky and find a spot that's not been plundered by many folks.

@@andyamysarizonaadventures5450one more quick question for you. I recently upgraded to the large Royal drywasher. I was at a club outing and was told I was running it to flat. I usually ran my Explorer at 25 degrees. So I stayed with that number with the bigger unit. When I made it steeper (35degrees) I did have some loss of gold. I took a sample home to check and sure enough there was gold in my tailings. Any thoughts on what angle the larger unit should be running at. Thanks Red

@Red-et2rd I never used a tool to get an exact gauge, experience will tell you by how the material is flowing what you need, slightly damp it need more angle, super dry not so much. You want the material moving but not flowing to fast, also do not put to much air to it my friend.

The biggest thing is not overfeeding it, you want that nice flow you see going up and down between riffles
