His argument is very weak and incorrect. There are more men than women in the world as we speak. And the scenario of "if all men were already married what would the rest of the women do" is highly hypothetically, not at all what the world is, or ever will look like. You can't base your argument around two beneficial scenarios that you made up. Also the later statment that a womans worth depends on who she belongs to is oppressing and sexist. As a woman you can work and take care of yourself. You never need to depend on a man for anything. In situations where women need to marry married men to get by, the system is unfair and constructed for men to keep authority over women and I think what he's doing here is maintian such oppressing constellations. The texts were written in a different context 2000 years ago, I wish that people would just admit that some things in the texts acctually aren't applicable to our society today.

@@stopitgetsomehelp5272 He literally said that a woman should share her husband so that other women don't become "public property". In his scenario he made it seem like there is no option for women to be alone. Like there is no way for a woman to belong to herself. Like there is no way for a women to have a high status without belonging to a man. Like there is no way for a woman to exist without being someones property. I don't know what source you used, but according to FNs report from 2017 it states that on 100 women in the world there's 102 men. Maybe the numbers are out of date. Either way, it's pretty irrelevant to the question.

I'm not sure but in my opinion, he meant zina that comes with being single for long. Medically speaking, no sane human being with proper hormones can live a life full of abstinence and if you don't get married sooner or later, you give in to your nafs and get indulged in zina or having sex out of a wedlock. That's why, it's important in Islam to marry off your adult children as soon as possible once you find a right mate for them. It's what I think he meant with public property that women might get indulged in zina with whoever they want...

And don't forget. Torn places like Myanmar and Iraq-Syria left most women widowed, and daughters supporting their families. A rich pimp shows up, and both will sell off their body, and carry the guilt. Better those women being a part of harem, then them selling off their bodies to strangers for a cheap price

Public property meaning you are placed into the category of not having a husband. That means you are either boyfriend and girlfriend, friends with benefits, sleeping around, or celibate. The reason you are considered public property if your not married is because logically without any religious rules you can have sex with whoever you wish to have sex with…. Meaning every man or at least the men you allow into your life that can use you. You are then viewed among man (or female if that’s what your into) as public property because they can use you for the time being (for sex). If you are really serious about someone you WILL marry. Boyfriend and Girlfriend does not exist in Islam because modern day relationships are followed by breakups (at some point). Typically when people break up they may sleep with other people. This dynamic of sleeping around ultimately destroys relationships and marriages because their is no barrier stopping someone from sleeping with other people. In Islam the only way you can have sex with someone is if you are married to the person. Unless you are celibate or you have no sex life YOU ARE considered public property if you are not married. The world recognizes you as public property because you do not belong to someone. Casual flings and hookups show that you can be used by different men (or female if that’s what your into) as public property. No different from your local restroom at Walmart.

this is honestly disgusting, 'property'? and its because its based on your religion? what rights do women even have? i cannot imagine the sheer number of people that falls into this thinking that women have two choices 'marry and gain rights' or 'become public property', its a systemic problem, i may not know the specifics, but this answer is so flawed on current thinking (coming from an agnostic)
@thebatsalbadurii382
@thebatsalbadurii382 2 жыл бұрын
I'm pretty sure what was meant in the 'public property' part is that the woman is a person that belongs to no one (belonging to someone does not necessarily mean owned by someone, it is also used to say 'in a relationship with', do not misinterpret my words), or in other terms, a person who is single THUS she would be someone who is 'available' as in she is permitted to fall in love with a man from the public. It isn't meant as 'women are public properties, they are only to be used for men's desires or to work for society' kind of a way, no, instead it's that women are just another regular member of society who has no spouse if not married. Which perhaps Dr Zakir Naik just happens to use the term 'public property' for this circumstance, this is included for men too. Out of that too, it would gravely be illogical if he meant it as 'property' like a literal belonging BECAUSE it is also said in the Quran that women have many rights and privileges such as Mehr, inheritance, etc. and to work and contribute freely to society, and they aren't specified to married women but are TOO for those who aren't, therefore, as i was saying, it would indeed be illogical for him to mean it the way you have interpret his words. THAT'S to what I BELIEVE he meant. No hard feelings of anything. Thank you.

Dear, If you are questioning about any religion that normally means that you are interested about that religion but you have some doubt about the religion , so if anybody can't answer the question that means you are not satisfied/sure about the religion (as you still have doubts ). So you decided to stay in the religion in which your parents are. So now tell me, do you have enough explanation of that religion , in which you are going stay? That's why Zakir sir pull the other religions , he means that, as you are questioning about Islam's pologamy allowance , but your own religion has already allowed this.. then why don't you question your own religion first? On the other hand , islam didn't tell us you have to marry four .. it says you can marry four.. and here the question came.. that don't the first wife feel bad for it? Now tell me after marrying 6108 women how the the first wife will feel? Also telling you one thing , after watching half of the video i also thought that Zakir sir is not exactly answering the question .. but after watching the full video .. i was like that's the perfect answer ,,, so 'm thinking now maybe you didn't watch the full video (not judging you, just a thought) .. Hope you understand ☺️❤️

Official written copy by Uthman The Quran was originally revealed in Quraishi dialect of Arabic. But to facilitate the people who speak other dialects, in their understanding and comprehension, Allah revealed the Quran finally in seven dialects of Arabic. During the period of Caliph Uthman (third successor to the Prophet) differences in reading the Quran among the various tribes became obvious, due to the various dialectical recitations. Dispute was arising, with each tribe calling its recitation as the correct one. This alarmed Uthman, who made an official copy in the Quraishi dialect, the dialect in which the Quran was revealed to the Prophet and was memorized by his companions. Thus this compilation by Uthman's Committee is not a different version of the Quran (like the Biblical versions) but the same original revelation given to the Prophet by One God, Allah. Narrated Anas bin Malik: Hudhaifa bin Al-Yaman came to Uthman at the time when the people of Sham (Syria) and the people of Iraq were waging war to conquer Armenia and Azherbijan. Hudhaifa was afraid of their differences in the recitation of the Quran, so he said to Uthman, 'O chief of the Believers! Save this nation before they differ about the Book (Quran) as Jews and Christians did before'. So Uthman sent a message to Hafsa saying, 'Send us the manuscripts of the Quran so that we may compile the Quranic materials in perfect copies and return the manuscripts to you'. Hafsa sent it to Uthman. 'Uthman then ordered Zaid bin Thabit, 'Abdullah bin Az-Zubair, Said bin Al-As and Abdur Rahman bin Harith bin Hisham to rewrite the manuscripts in perfect copies. Uthman said to the three Quraishi men, 'In case you disagree with Zaid bin Thabit on any point in the Quran, then write it in their (Quraishi) tongue'. They did so, and when they had written many copies, Uthman sent to every Muslim province one copy of what they had copied and ordered that all the other Quranic materials whether written in fragmentary manuscripts or whole copies, be burnt…" [29] Again a very stringent criteria was set up by this Committee to prevent any alteration of the Revelation. 1. The earlier recension (Original copy prepared by Abu Bakr) was to serve as the principal basis of the new one. [30] 2. Any doubt that might be raised as to the phrasing of a particular passage in the written text was to be dispelled by summoning persons known to have learned the passage in question from the Prophet. [31] 3. Uthman himself was to supervise the work of the Council. [32] When the final recension was completed, Uthman sent a copy of it to each of the major cities of Makka, Damascus, Kufa, Basra and Madina. The action of Uthman to burn the other copies besides the final recension, though obviously drastic, was for the betterment and harmony of the whole community and was unanimously approved by the Companions of the Prophet. Zaid ibn Thabit is reported to have said: "I saw the Companions of Muhammad (going about) saying, 'By God, Uthman has done well! By God, Uthman has done well!" [33] Another esteemed Companion Musab ibn Sad ibn Abi Waqqas said: "I saw the people assemble in large number at Uthman's burning of the prescribed copies (of the Quran), and they were all pleased with his action; not a one spoke out against him". [34] Ali ibn Abu Talib, the cousin of the Prophet and the fourth successor to the Prophet commented: "If I were in command in place of Uthman, I would have done the same". [35] Of the copies made by Uthman, two still exist to our day. One is in the city of Tashkent, (Uzbekistan) and the second one is in Istanbul (Turkey). Below is a brief account of both these copies: 1. The copy which Uthman sent to Madina was reportedly removed by the Turkish authorities to Istanbul, from where it came to Berlin during World War I. The Treaty of Versailles, which concluded World War I, contains the following clause: 'Article 246: Within six months from the coming into force of the present Treaty, Germany will restore to His Majesty, King of Hedjaz, the original Koran of Caliph Othman, which was removed from Madina by the Turkish authorities and is stated to have been presented to the ex-Emperor William II". [36] 'This manuscript then reached Istanbul, but not Madina (Where it now resides)'. [37] 2. The second copy in existence is kept in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. 'It may be the Imam (master) manuscript or one of the other copies made at the time of Uthman'. [38] It Came to Samarkand in 890 Hijra (1485) and remained there till 1868. Then it was taken to St.Petersburg by the Russians in 1869. It remained there till 1917. A Russian orientalist gave a detailed description of it, saying that many pages were damaged and some were missing. A facsimile, some 50 copies, of this mushaf (copy) was produced by S.Pisareff in 1905. A copy was sent to the Ottoman Sultan 'Abdul Hamid, to the Shah of Iran, to the Amir of Bukhara, to Afghanistan, to Fas and some important Muslim personalities. One copy is now in the Columbia University Library (U.S.A.). [39] 'The Manuscript was afterwards returned to its former place and reached Tashkent in 1924, where it has remained since'. [40]

It comes down to the family structure and roles according to Islam. Men is a provider, hence Men can take multiple wives as a mean of helping them out financially. Also Islam have rulings that can be applied to any era, meaning when needed, there's a rule for it. It solves the problem when wars happen, and many women left husbandless. In this case Men can marry them to provide for them. And it is also mentioned that it's still better to have only one.

When Jesus entered Jerusalem did he cleanse the temple that same day? Yes (Matthew 21:12) No. He went into the temple and looked around, but since it was very late he did nothing. When the cock crowed once, the three denials were not yet complete (see Mark 14:72). Therefore prediction (a) failed. 49. Did Jesus bear his own cross? Yes (John 19:17) No (Matthew 27:31-32) 50. Did Jesus die before the curtain of the temple was torn? Yes (Matthew 27:50-51; Mark lS:37-38) No. After the curtain was torn, then Jesus crying with a loud voice, said, Father, into thy hands I commit my spirit! Mark does not give the words but he says that the words were the same as the first prayer (Mark 14:3 9) Matthew gives us the words, and we can see that they are not the same as in the first (Matthew 26:42) 73. What did the centurion say when Jesus dies? Certainly this man was innocent (Luke 23:47) Truly this man was the Son of God (Mark 15:39) 74. When Jesus said My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken Me ? in what language did he speak? Hebrew: the words are Eloi, Eloi ..(Matthew 27:46) Aramaic: the words are Eloi, Eloi .. (Mark 15:34) 75. According to the gospels, what were the last words of Jesus before he died? Father, into thy hands I commit my spirit! (Luke 23:46) "It is finished" (John 19:30) 76. When Jesus entered Capernaum he healed the slave of a centurion. Did the centurion come personally to request Jesus for this? Yes (Matthew 8:5) No. He sent some elders of the Jews and his friends (Luke 7:3,6) 77. Adam was told that if and when he eats the forbidden fruit he would die the same day (Genesis 2:17) Adam ate the fruit and went on to live to a ripe old age of 930 years (Genesis 5:5) 78. God decided that the life-span of humans will be limited to 120 years (Genesis 6:3) Many people born after that lived longer than 120. Arpachshad lived 438 years. His son Shelah lived 433 years. His son Eber lived 464 years, etc. (Genesis 11:12-16) 79. Apart from Jesus did anyone else ascend to heaven? No (John 3:13) Yes. And Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven (2 Kings 2:11) 80. Who was high priest when David went into the house of God and ate the consecrated bread? Abiathar (Mark 2:26) Ahimelech, the father of Abiathar (I Samuel 1:1; 22:20) 81. Was Jesus body wrapped in spices before burial in accordance with Jewish burial customs? Yes and his female disciples witnessed his burial (John 19:39-40)

Concept of God in Islam one God, is the most important and foundational concept in Islam. Muslims believe in one God who created the universe and has power over everything within it. He is unique and exalted above everything He creates, and His greatness cannot be compared to His creation. Furthermore, He is the only one deserving of any worship and the ultimate purpose of all creation is to submit to Him. The Islamic understanding of God is distinct from all other religions and beliefs in various respects since it is based on a pure and clear understanding of monotheism. This essentially captures the concept of God in Islam, which will be further elaborated in this pamphlet. Muslims often refer to God as Allah. This is a universal name for God and does not refer to an exclusively ‘Islamic’ God. Interestingly, this name is related to the Aramaic and Hebrew names for God, Allaha and Elohim. Therefore, Allah is simply the Arabic name for God which affirms that He is One singular God with no partners or equals. The name Allah cannot be pluralized or limited to a specific gender, which establishes that God is One and that He is unique from everything He creates. Muslims continue to use this original Arabic name for God (Allah) since it perfectly expresses His unique qualities. God is the Creator and the Sustainer of the universe who created everything for a reason. Muslims believe that He created humankind with a simple purpose - to worship Him. He sent messengers to guide people in fulfilling this purpose. Some of these messengers include Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad, peace be upon all of them. They all taught a consistent message about God by affirming His greatness as the Creator and guiding people to worship Him alone. This basic concept has always resonated with people’s natural understanding of God. When the final prophet, Muhammad, peace be upon him (pbuh), was asked about God, the answer came directly from God in the holy book of Muslims, the Quran (also spelled ‘Koran’): “Say, ‘He is God the One, God the eternal. He begot no one nor was He begotten. No one is comparable to Him.’” [112:1-4] This is a clear statement by God describing Himself to humanity without any room for confusion. God is One and is exalted above everything He creates and He is capable over all things. Fully accepting the oneness of God is to accept that He is distinct from everything else. It would not suit God’s majesty and glory to associate the limited attributes of His creation to Him because He is not restricted in any way, while His creation is. He is the First with no beginning and the Last with no end. Everything in the universe was created by His will. He is not confined by space or time and He is the only One who is in control and provides for His creation. “He is God: there is no god other than Him. It is He who knows what is hidden as well as what is in the open, He is the Lord of Mercy, the Giver of Mercy. He is God: there is no god other than Him, the Controller, the Holy One, Source of Peace, Granter of Security, Guardian over all, the Almighty, the Compeller, the Truly Great; God is far above anything they consider to be His partner. He is God: the Creator, the Originator, the Shaper. The best names belong to Him. Everything in the heavens and earth glorifies Him: He is the Almighty, the Wise.” [Quran, 59:22-24] Why did God create people whom He already knew would reject Him and go to hell? Shouldn’t God who is All Loving instead not create them so that they won’t go through punishment? These are some common questions connected to this topic. Answered by Nouman Ali Khan Pure Monotheism “God: there is no god but Him, the Ever Living, the Ever Watchful. Neither slumber nor sleep overtakes Him. All that is in the heavens and in the earth belongs to Him. Who is there that can intercede with Him except by His leave? He knows what is before them and what is behind them, but they do not comprehend any of His knowledge except what He wills. His throne extends over the heavens and the earth; it does not weary Him to preserve them both. He is the Most High, the Tremendous.” [Quran, 2:255] The primary pillar of Islamic belief clearly states that there is nothing worthy of worship except God. Associating partners with God or attributing qualities of lesser beings to Him is considered to be the greatest sin in Islam. In the past, this often took the form of idol worship or praying to multiple lesser gods. Although this is less common now, the current era has replaced many of the physical ‘idols’ of the past with other contemporary ‘gods.’ Many people today allow passions like entertainment, drugs, relationships or material objects to become the center of their lives. They become so consumed with these things that they submit to whatever will allow them to fulfill their desires. For example, if a drug addict allows their addiction to control their actions, beliefs, feelings, and behaviors, causing them to risk their personal safety and the safety of others, that drug has essentially become their god. Likewise, if another person puts a loved one before God by obeying that person even if that causes them to transgress against God’s commands, their loved one has taken precedence over God. Islam teaches that people should completely submit only to God as He is the only One worthy of their worship. He is the Creator and Sustainer of the universe and everything in it belongs to Him. The Quran points out the faulty thinking of those who worship other than God: “‘How can you worship things you carve with your own hands, when it is God who has created you and all your handiwork?’” [37:95-96] www.whyislam.org/brochures/conceptofgod/

It was narrated from Anas, that the Messenger of Allah had a female slave with whom he had intercourse, but 'Aishah and Hafsah would not leave him alone until he said that she was forbidden for him. Then Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, revealed: "O Prophet! Why do you forbid (for yourself) that which Allah has allowed to you.' until the end of the Verse. I wonder, how come Allah said that?
