Is not the Service Charges of Islamic Bank also Interest? - Dr Zakir Naik
SKLIQA-14
Questioner: Assalamu Alaikum. My name is Fahad, I work as a computer programmer…. my question is related to Islamic banking. What is meant when certain Islamic bank says that they’re gonna offer a loan and X% APR, is that not interest, is that not interest?
Dr. Zakir Naik: Brother asked a question that, he wants to know about Islamic banking, Islamic Bank offers loan and they add a X%, they call it service charge, whatever it is, is it not interest? See basically interest is haraam in Islam there are no less than 8 different places in Allah says interest is Haraam. Allah clearly says in
Surah Baqarah ch. no. 2 verse no. 278 to 279 that
“If you give up not your demands for interest take a notice of a war from Allah and His Rasool”
So interest is Haraam. Now as far as Islamic Banking is concerned as you mentioned many Islamic Banks which give loan, point to be noted that most of the Islamic banks that are there, I don’t know of any Islamic bank which is 100% Islamic. I don’t know, may be, I don’t know.
In fact one of my interest is Islamic Banking but there are many which are MashaAllah quite a lot Islamic. There are many which are frauds also, fine, only namesake Islamic. What we have to note that we as layman if we can check up, check up, if you analyze there is Islamic system of Musharika, profit and loss sharing which is the best, safest. Musharika means you become a partner in it. Now other aspects are there, Mudariba is there i.e. cost plus. In cost plus many a times people falter and many a times its nothing but catching the nose long cut, you know. Aisa nose pakadne ka. You say it is nothing but trying to make a gimmick so we have to analyze and many Fatwas are given on this is allowed, that is allowed which many, which I don’t agree with also.
So when an Islamic bank comes we have to scrutinize, who is on the Shariah board, just by name please don’t go that’s not important what they do etc. so many of the Islamic banks, I wouldn’t call then Islamic, there may be a very small percentage Islamic. Now in the Islamic bank most of them do Mudariba, in Mudariba there is a problem, cost plus which comes. Sometimes it’s possible, Ijara is there i.e. higher purchaces is there which is Islamic; Musharika is safe, safe means if they are following Islamic principals haan… In other parts we have to check up and what we analyze that most of the banks, they falter and because they compete with the normal conventional bank, they keep the same interest, only name is different. Naam ka farak hai, label is different but it’s the same. So we have to be` careful while taking loan but as a layman. If suppose you think it is Islamic and you take it and if they are doing something wrong out of ignorance you have gone so the blame will come on them, not on you. if you know they are haraam and then you go then the blame will come on you. So it is the owners of the people running Islamic banks to check up whether they are following… What happens there are many fatwas in this and Fatwa shopping is very easy. You know what Fatwa you want, you’ll get. So they go and whether in Egypt or Pakistan or India so they take Fatwa which is convenient for them and then they sanction it. So you have to be careful while Islamic banking is there, not that its not possible… possible, very difficult. There are some banks I know which are MashaAllah good ...

I agree with brother ZN. No Islamic banking is completely Islamic means interest free. Remember a rule of thumb regarding banks that they don’t have any source of income other than the interest on the loans that are given out to consumers. So interest is the blood of banks, they can’t survive without it.

That’s very true people need banks and banks need some type of income. Without banks most people cant buy a car or a house and are homeless. Nor is there any way to safely transfer large amounts of money or keep your money safe. This is the only thing in islam that i think islam got wrong. No other option

@@koolaydkkid3544 Islam thinks about all people not only the rich or the middle class who can somehow manage . See how interest actually works in banks and judge neutrally . You will see a group of people being exploited everyday by banks . And they are working day and night to put up with their debts and losing all . Islam is about Insaf ( Justice ) bringing an overall balance.

There is another way the Muslim ummah survived and was the supper power of the world for hundred of years without relying on interest. Unfortunately we Moslems are too divided to start an interest free society today.

The Quran contains many Prophecies that have been fulfilled, The first two prophecies are noteworthy: unlike any other world scripture, the Quran prophesizes its own preservation under divine care, and we will demonstrate how it actually occurred. The Protection of the Quran from Corruption The Quran makes a claim no other religious text makes, that God Himself will keep its text safe from alteration. God says: "Behold, it is We Ourselves who have gradually revealed this reminder, and, behold, it is We who shall truly guard it [from all corruption]." (Quran 15:9) The Ease of Memorizing the Quran God has made the Quran easy to memorize: "And in truth We have made the Quran easy to remember; who, then, is willing to take it to heart?" (Quran 54:17) The ease with which Quran is memorized is inimitable. There is not a single scripture or religious text in the world that is as easy to memorize; even non-Arabs and children commit it to memory easily. The entire Quran is memorized by almost every Islamic scholar and hundreds of thousands of ordinary Muslims, generation after generation. Almost every Muslim has some portion of the Quran memorized to read in his prayers. The Twofold Prophecy Before the rise of Islam, the Romans and the Persians were two competing superpowers. Romans were led by Heraclius (610-641 CE), a Christian Emperor, whereas the Persians were Zoroastrians led by Khosrow Parviz (reigned 590-628 CE), under whom the empire achieved its greatest expansion. In 614, the Persians conquered Syria and Palestine, taking Jerusalem, destroying the Holy Sepulcher and the ‘True Cross’ carried to Ctesiphon. Then, in 619, they occupied Egypt and Libya. Heraclius met them at Thracian Heraclea (617 or 619), but they sought to capture him, and he rode madly back to Constantinople, hotly pursued.[2] The Muslims were grieved by the Roman defeat as they felt spiritually closer to Christian Rome than Zoroastrian Persia, but the Meccans were naturally buoyed up by the victory of pagan Persia. To Meccans, the Roman humiliation was a sinister omen of the defeat of the Muslims at pagan hands. At the time God’s prophecy comforted the faithful: "The Romans have been defeated - in a land close by; but they, (even) after (this) defeat of theirs, will soon be victorious- within ten years. With God is the Decision, in the past and in the future: on that Day shall the believers rejoice with the help of God. He helps whom He will, and He is the Mighty, the Most-Merciful." (Quran 30:2-5) The Quran made a prophecy of two victories: (i) The future Roman victory within ten years over Persians, something unimaginable at the time (ii) The joy of the faithful on a victory over the pagans Both of these prophecies actually occured. In 622, Heraclius left Constantinople as prayers rose from its many sanctuaries for victory over the Persian Zoroastrians and the reconquest of Jerusalem. He devoted the next two years to campaigns in Armenia. In 627, he met the Persians near Nineveh. There, he killed three Persian generals in single combat, killed the Persian commander, and scattered the Persian host. A month later, Heraclius entered Dastagird with its stupendous treasure. Khosrow was overthrown by his son, who made peace with Heraclius. Returning to Constantinople in triumph, Heraclius was hailed as a hero.[3] Also, in the year 624 AH, Muslims defeated the Meccans in the first and decisive Battle at Badr. In the words of an Indian scholar: "…a single line of prophecy was related to four nations and the fate of two great empires. All this proves the Holy Quran to be the Book of God."[4] The Prophecy of Pagan Defeat The Quran predicted the defeat of unbelievers in Mecca while Prophet Muhammad and his followers were still being persecuted by them: "Or do they (the Meccan disbelievers) say: ‘We are a great multitude, and we shall be victorious?’ Their multitude will be defeated, , and they shall turn their backs [in flight]!" (Quran 54:45) The prophecy was revealed in Mecca, but was fulfilled at the Battle of Badr, two years after the Prophet’s migration to the city of Medina. The Fate of Specific Individuals Waleed ibn Mugheera was a staunch enemy who openly ridiculed the Quran: "Then said he: "This is nothing but magic, derived from of old; this is nothing but the word of a mortal!" (Quran 74:24-25) The Quran prophesized he will never accept Islam: "Soon will I cast him into Hell-Fire! And what will explain to thee what Hell-Fire is? It leaves naught nor does it spare aught." (Quran 74:26-28) Waleed died in a state of disbelief as prophesized by the Quran. Also, concerning Abu Lahab, a fiery opponent of Islam, the Quran foretold he will die opposing the religion of God: "May the hands of Abu Lahab perish, and [indeed] he has perished. His wealth and gains will not profit him. He will be plunged in flaming Fire." (Quran 111:1-3) Specifically, three prophecies were made about Abu Lahab: (i) The conspiracies of Abu Lahab against the Prophet would not succeed. (ii) His wealth and children would not benefit him. (iii) He would die opposing God’s religion and enter the Fire. Abu Lahab also died in a state of disbelief as prophesized by the Quran. Had Waleed or Abu Lahab accepted Islam even outwardly, they would have disproved its prophecies and thus its heavenly source! In addition, Abu Lahab had four sons, two of whom died at a young age during his lifetime. The other two sons and a daughter embraced Islam and frustrated his hopes! Finally, he died of a plague; people would not touch his body out of fear of contamination and dumped mud and stones on him where he died to make it his grave. A key foundation to believing that a scripture is actually a revelation of God is internal truth, whether it be in regards to occurrences in the past, to come in the future, or in contemporary ages. As one can see, there are many prophecies mentioned in that which is to come, some of which were fulfilled in the Prophet’s lifetime, or have been fulfilled since his death, while others are yet to appear

Proof of The Preservation of the Quran There are hundreds of religions flourishing around the world: Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Sikhism, Hinduism, Judaism, Bahaism, Babism, Zoroastrianism, Mormonism, Jehovas Witnesses, Jainism, Confucianism etc. And each of these religions claim that their scripture is preserved from the day it was revealed (written) until our time. A religious belief is as authentic as the authenticity of the scripture it follows. And for any scripture to be labeled as authentically preserved it should follow some concrete and rational criteria. Imagine this scenario: A professor gives a three hour lecture to his students. Imagine still that none of the students memorized this speech of the professor or wrote it down. Now forty years after that speech, if these same students decided to replicate the professor's complete speech word for word, would they be able to do it? Obviously not. Because historically, the only two modes of preservation were through writing and memorizing. Therefore, for any claimants to proclaim that their scripture is preserved in purity, they have to provide concrete evidence that the Scripture was written in its entirety AND memorized in its entirety from the time it was revealed to our time, in a continuous and unbroken chain. If the memorization part doesn't exist parallel to the written part to act as a check and balance for it, then there is a genuine possibility that the written scripture may loose its purity through unintentional and intentional interpolations due to scribal errors, corruption by the enemies, pages getting decomposed etc, and these errors would concurrently be incorporated into subsequent texts, ultimately loosing its purity through the ages. Now, of all the religions mentioned above, does any one of them possess their scriptures in its entirety BOTH in writing AND in memory from the day of its revelation until our time. None of them fit this required criteria, except one: This unique scripture is the Qur'an - revelation bestowed to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) 1,400 plus years ago, as a guidance for all of humankind. Let’s analyze the claim of the preservation of the Quran… 1. Memorization 'In the ancient times, when writing was scarcely used, memory and oral transmission was exercised and strengthened to a degree now almost unknown' relates Michael Zwettler.[1] Prophet Muhammad (S): The First Memorizer It was in this 'oral' society that Prophet Muhammad (S) was born in Mecca in the year 570 C.E. At the age of 40, he started receiving divine Revelations from the One God, Allah, through Archangel Gabriel. This process of divine revelations continued for about 23 years just before he passed away. Prophet Muhammad (S) miraculously memorized each revelation and used to proclaim it to his Companions. Angel Gabriel used to refresh the Quranic memorization of the Prophet each year. 'The Prophet (S) was the most generous person, and he used to become more so (generous) particularly in the month of Ramadan because Gabriel used to meet him every night of the month of Ramadan till it elapsed. Allah's Messenger (S) use to recite the Qur'an for him. When Gabriel met him, he use to become more generous than the fast wind in doing good'. [2] 'Gabriel used to repeat the recitation of the Qur'an with the Prophet (S) once a year, but he repeated it twice with him in the year he (Prophet) died'. [3] The Prophet himself use to stay up a greater part of the night in prayers and use to recite Quran from memory. Prophet's Companions: The First Generation Memorizers Prophet Muhammad (S) encouraged his companions to learn and teach the Quran: 'The most superior among you (Muslims) are those who learn the Qur'an and teach it'. [4] 'Some of the companions who memorized the Quran were: 'Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Ali, Ibn Masud, Abu Huraira, Abdullah bin Abbas, Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As, Aisha, Hafsa, and Umm Salama'. [5] 'Abu Bakr, the first male Muslim to convert to Islam used to recite the Quran publicly in front of his house in Makka'. [6] The Prophet also listened to the recitation of the Qur'an by the Companions: 'Allah's Apostle said to me (Abdullah bin Mas'ud): "Recite (of the Quran) to me". I said: "Shall I recite it to you although it had been revealed to you?!" He Said: "I like to hear (the Quran) from others". So I recited Sura-an-Nisa' till I reached: "How (will it be) then when We bring from each nation a witness and We bring you (O Muhammad) as a witness against these people?"' (4:41) 'Then he said: "Stop!" Behold, his eyes were shedding tears then'. [7] Many Quran memorizers (Qurra) were present during the lifetime of the Prophet and afterwards through out the then Muslim world. 'At the battle of Yamama, many memorizers of the Quran were martyred. 'Narrated Zaid bin Thabit al Ansari, who was one of those who use to write the Divine Revelations: Abu Bakr sent me after the (heavy) casualties among the warriors (of the battle) of Yamama (where a great number of Qurra were killed). Umar was present with Abu Bakr who said: "Umar has come to me and said, the people have suffered heavy casualties on the day of (the battle of) Yamama, and I am afraid that there will be some casualties among the Qurra (those who memorized the entire Quran) at other place…"' [8] 'Over the centuries of the Islamic Era, there have arisen throughout the various regions of the Islamic world literally thousands of schools devoted specially to the teaching of the Quran to children for the purpose of memorization. These are called, in Arabic, katatib (singular: Kuttab). It is said that the Caliph 'Umar (634-44) first ordered the construction of these schools in the age of the great expansion'. [9] Second Generation Memorizers: "…Quranic schools were set up everywhere. As an example to illustrate this I may refer to a great Muslim scholar, of the second Muslim generation, Ibn 'Amir, who was the judge of Damascus under the Caliph Umar Ibn 'Abd Al-Aziz. It is reported that in his school for teaching the Quran there were 400 disciples to teach in his absence". [10] Memorizers in Subsequent Generations: The Number of Katatib and similar schools in Cairo (Egypt) alone at one time exceeded two thousand. [11] Currently both in the Muslim and non-Muslim countries thousands of schools with each instructing tens of hundreds of students the art of memorizing the entire Quran. In the city of Chicago itself, there are close to 40+ Mosques, with many of them holding class for children instructing them the art of Quranic memorization. Further Points of Consideration: Muslims recite Quran from their memory in all of their five daily prayers. Once a year, during the month of Fasting (Ramadan), Muslims listen to the complete recitation of the Quran by a Hafiz (memorizer of the entire Quran) It's a tradition among Muslims that before any speech or presentation, marriages, sermons, Quran is recited. CONCLUSION: Quran is the only book, religious or secular, on the face of this planet that has been completely memorized by millions. These memorizers range from ages 6 and up, both Arabic and non-Arabic speakers, blacks, whites, Orientals, poor and wealthy. Thus the process of memorization was continuous , from Prophet Muhammad's (S) time to ours with an unbroken chain. "The method of transmitting the Quran from one generation to the next by having he young memorize the oral recitation of their elders had mitigated somewhat from the beginning the worst perils of relying solely on written records…" relates John Burton. [12] "This phenomenon of Quranic recital means that the text has traversed the centuries in an unbroken living sequence of devotion. It cannot, therefore, be handled as an antiquarian thing, nor as a historical document out of a distant past. The fact of hifz (Quranic Memorization) has made the Qur'an a present possession through all the lapse of Muslim time and given it a human currency in every generation never allowing its relegation to a bare authority for reference alone" reflects Kenneth Cragg. Concept of God in Islam Monotheism, belief in one God, is the most important and foundational concept in Islam. Muslims believe in one God who created the universe and has power over everything within it. He is unique and exalted above everything He creates, and His greatness cannot be compared to His creation. Furthermore, He is the only one deserving of any worship and the ultimate purpose of all creation is to submit to Him. The Islamic understanding of God is distinct from all other religions and beliefs in various respects since it is based on a pure and clear understanding of monotheism. This essentially captures the concept of God in Islam, which will be further elaborated in this pamphlet. Muslims often refer to God as Allah. This is a universal name for God and does not refer to an exclusively ‘Islamic’ God. Interestingly, this name is related to the Aramaic and Hebrew names for God, Allaha and Elohim. Therefore, Allah is simply the Arabic name for God which affirms that He is One singular God with no partners or equals. The name Allah cannot be pluralized or limited to a specific gender, which establishes that God is One and that He is unique from everything He creates. Muslims continue to use this original Arabic name for God (Allah) since it perfectly expresses His unique qualities. God is the Creator and the Sustainer of the universe who created everything for a reason. Muslims believe that He created humankind with a simple purpose - to worship Him. He sent messengers to guide people in fulfilling this purpose. Some of these messengers include Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad, peace be upon all of them. They all taught a consistent message about God by affirming His greatness as the Creator and guiding people to worship Him alone. This basic concept has always resonated with people’s natural understanding of God. (Click here to learn more about prophets in Islam.) When the final prophet, Muhammad, peace be upon him (pbuh), was asked about God, the answer came directly from God in the holy book of Muslims, the Quran (also spelled ‘Koran’): “Say, ‘He is God the One, God the eternal. He begot no one nor was He begotten. No one is comparable to Him.’” [112:1-4] This is a clear statement by God describing Himself to humanity without any room for confusion. God is One and is exalted above everything He creates and He is capable over all things. Fully accepting the oneness of God is to accept that He is distinct from everything else. It would not suit God’s majesty and glory to associate the limited attributes of His creation to Him because He is not restricted in any way, while His creation is. He is the First with no beginning and the Last with no end. Everything in the universe was created by His will. He is not confined by space or time and He is the only One who is in control and provides for His creation. “He is God: there is no god other than Him. It is He who knows what is hidden as well as what is in the open, He is the Lord of Mercy, the Giver of Mercy. He is God: there is no god other than Him, the Controller, the Holy One, Source of Peace, Granter of Security, Guardian over all, the Almighty, the Compeller, the Truly Great; God is far above anything they consider to be His partner. He is God: the Creator, the Originator, the Shaper. The best names belong to Him. Everything in the heavens and earth glorifies Him: He is the Almighty, the Wise.” [Quran, 59:22-24] Why did God create people whom He already knew would reject Him and go to hell? Shouldn’t God who is All Loving instead not create them so that they won’t go through punishment? These are some common questions connected to this topic. Answered by Nouman Ali Khan Pure Monotheism “God: there is no god but Him, the Ever Living, the Ever Watchful. Neither slumber nor sleep overtakes Him. All that is in the heavens and in the earth belongs to Him. Who is there that can intercede with Him except by His leave? He knows what is before them and what is behind them, but they do not comprehend any of His knowledge except what He wills. His throne extends over the heavens and the earth; it does not weary Him to preserve them both. He is the Most High, the Tremendous.” [Quran, 2:255] The primary pillar of Islamic belief clearly states that there is nothing worthy of worship except God. Associating partners with God or attributing qualities of lesser beings to Him is considered to be the greatest sin in Islam. In the past, this often took the form of idol worship or praying to multiple lesser gods. Although this is less common now, the current era has replaced many of the physical ‘idols’ of the past with other contemporary ‘gods.’ Many people today allow passions like entertainment, drugs, relationships or material objects to become the center of their lives. They become so consumed with these things that they submit to whatever will allow them to fulfill their desires. For example, if a drug addict allows their addiction to control their actions, beliefs, feelings, and behaviors, causing them to risk their personal safety and the safety of others, that drug has essentially become their god. Likewise, if another person puts a loved one before God by obeying that person even if that causes them to transgress against God’s commands, their loved one has taken precedence over God. Islam teaches that people should completely submit only to God as He is the only One worthy of their worship. He is the Creator and Sustainer of the universe and everything in it belongs to Him. The Quran points out the faulty thinking of those who worship other than God: “‘How can you worship things you carve with your own hands, when it is God who has created you and all your handiwork?’” [37:95-96]

Similarities between Hinduism and Islam So the major difference between the Hindu and the Muslims is, the common Hindu says that everything is God, we Muslim say everything is God’s. ‘G’ ‘O’ ‘D’ with an apostrophe ‘S’. The major difference is the apostrophe ‘s’. If we can solve this difference of apostrophe ‘S’, the Hindus and the Muslims will be united. How would do you do it? As the Qur’an says, “Ta`alaw 'Ilá Kalimatin Sawa'in Baynana Wa Baynakum” “Come to common terms as between us and you” Which is the first term? “Alla Na`buda 'Illallah” “That we believe in only One Almighty God” Let us try and understand what the Hindu scriptures have to speak about Almighty God. It is mentioned in the Chandogya Upanishad, Chapter No. 6, Section No. 2, Verse No. 1, it says, “Ekam Evadvitiyam” It’s a Sanskrit quotation which means, “God is only one without a second.” It is mentioned in the Shvetashvatara Upanishad, Chapter No. 6, Verse No. 9, “Na casya Kascij janita na Cadhipah.” “Of Him there are no parents, he has got no lords, Almighty God has got no mother, he has got no father, he has got no master, he has got no superior” It’s mentioned in the Shvetashvatara Upanishad, Chapter No. 4, Verse No. 19, “Na Tasya Pratima Asti” “Of Him there is no likeness” It’s further mentioned in the Shvetashvatara Upanishad, Chapter No. 4, Verse No. 20, that “His form cannot be seen. No one can see Him with their eyes.” Amongst all the Hindu scriptures the most widely read and the most popular is the Bhagavad Gita. It’s mentioned in Bhagavad Gita Chapter No. 7, Verse No. 20, “All those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, they worship demi Gods.” Which means all materialistic people, they worship demi gods, that is the false gods besides the one true Almighty God. It’s further mentioned in Bhagavad Gita Chapter No. 10, Verse No. 3, that “He who knows me as the unborn, the beginning less, the supreme Lord of all the worlds.” Amongst the Hindu scriptures, the most sacred are the Vedas. It’s mentioned in the Yajurveda Chapter No. 32, Verse No. 3, “Na Tasya Pratima Asti” “Of Him there are no images.” Almighty God has got no images, and it further says that he’s unborn, he alone only should be worshipped. It’s mentioned in Yajurveda, Chapter No. 40, Verse No. 8, that “Almighty God is imageless and pure.” It’s mentioned in Yajurveda Chapter No. 40 Verse No. 9, “Andhatma Pravishanti ya Aasambhuti mupaste.” ‘Andhatma’ means darkness. ‘Pravishanti’ means entering and ‘Asambhuti’ means the natural things like fire, water, air. It means, “They are entering darkness those who worship the natural things like fire, water, air and the verse continues, they are entering more in darkness those who worship the created things” Like table, chair, idols etc. Who says that? Yajurveda Chapter No. 40 Verse No. 9. It’s further mentioned in the Atharvaveda, Book No. 20, Hymn No. 58, Verse No. 3, “Dev maha Asi” “Verily great is Almighty God.” And amongst the Hindu scriptures, the most sacred are the Rigveda. It’s mentioned in the Rigveda, Book No. 1, Hymn No. 164, Verse No. 46, the Shlokas which were recited by the respected Pandits, it says, “Ekkam sad vipra bhudha vidante” “Ekkam sad vipra bhudha vidante” Which means, “Truth is one, God is one, sages call him by various names.” And the same message is repeated in Rigveda, Book No. 10, Hymn No. 114, Verse No. 5, that God is one but sages call him by a variety of names.” And in Rigveda alone, in Book No. 2 Hymn No. 1 there are no less than 33 different attributes given to Almighty God, many of which were recited by the respected Pandits. One amongst them in Rigveda, Book No. 2, Hymn No. 1, Verse No. 3 is Brahamma. Brahamma is called the creator. If you translate into Arabic, it means Khaliq. We Muslims have got no objection if someone calls Almighty God as Khaliq or the Creator, but if someone says the creator is Almighty God who has got four heads and on each head is a crown, we Muslims take strong exception to it. More over, you are going against Shvetashvatara Upanishad Chapter No. 4 Verse No. 19 which says, “Na Tasya Pratima Asti” “Of Him there is no likeness” Another attribute given in Rigveda, Book No. 2, Hymn No. 1, Verse No. 3 is ‘Vishnu’. Vishnu is called the Sustainer, the cherisher. If you translate into Arabic, it is somewhat similar to Rabb. We Muslims have got no objection if someone says Almighty God is Rabb or Sustainer or Cherisher. But if someone says Sustainer, he’s Almighty God who has got four hands, one of his right hand is the Disc, the Chakra, the other hand he has the conch, he’s traveling on the bird by the name of Garuda or reclining on couch of snakes, we Muslims take strong objection to it. Moreover you are going against the Yajurveda, Chapter No. 32, Verse No. 3 which says, “Na Tasya Pratima Asti” “Of Him there are no images” If you read Rigveda, all these descriptions are not given, the attributes are given that Almighty God is creator, he’s sustainer, he’s cherisher. We have no objection with attribute, but these images are not given because it is mentioned in the Veda’s that Almighty God has got no images. It’s further mentioned in Rigveda, Book No. 8, Hymn No. 1, Verse No. 1, “Ma Chidanyadvi Sansad” “Ma Chidanyadvi Sansad” Which means, “Do not worship anyone except the one God.” It’s mentioned in Rigveda, Book No. 6, Hymn No. 45, Verse No. 16, “Ya Ekit Mushtihi” “Praise him alone, the one true God” And the Brahma Sutra of the Vedanta is “Ekam Brahm, dvitiya naste neh na naste kinchan” Which means, “Bhagwan ek hi hai doosra nahi hai, nahi hai, nahi hai, zara bhi nahi hai.” You will find Messages on my facebook page facebook.com/CureforIslamophobia To see Debate between - Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar vs Dr Zakir Naik concept of God in Hinduism and Islam according to scripture Part1 facebook.com/CureforIslamophobia/videos/4745927988781088 Part2 facebook.com/CureforIslamophobia/videos/4741366045903949

As a Postgraduate student of Islamic Finance, I can say that the answer was somewhat confusing because Islamic banks don't provide loan and only provide lease facilities which is why I think the answer is insufficient. This video also did not answer the question asked in the title and to answer that I will simply reply the service charge to be similar as packaging fee charged by the food vendor on a food delivery app. Hope that answers the question.

But people "worshipped" Jesus and he did not object: With regard to John 9:38 "Lord. I believe, and he worshipped him." and Matthew 28:17 "they saw him, they worshipped him." Please note that the word translated as "worshipped" in both verses is the GREEK word "prosekunesan" which is derived from the root word proskuneo {pros-ku-neh'-o}. The literal meaning of this word is (and I quote): "to kiss, like a dog licking his masters hand." This word also has the general meaning of "bow, crouch, crawl, kneel or prostrate." Please check the Strong's concordance for the true meaning of this word. Is the act of kissing someone's hand the same as worshipping him? Once again, selective translation. However, the above two verses of John and Matthew are not the only two verses of the Bible were such selective translation techniques are employed in order to impress upon the reader a chosen doctrine. For example, in the "Gospel of Matthew" the English "translation" records that Jesus was "worshipped" by Magi that came from the East (2:11); by a ruler (9:18) , by boat people (14:33), by a Canaanite woman (15:24), by the mother of the Zebedees (20:20); and by Mary Magdalene and the other Mary (28:9) to name but a very few. Since worshipping any one other than God is a fundamental sin, therefore, the reader understands that Jesus was God since he condoned them "worshipping" him. Since Jesus (pbuh) never once in the whole Bible ever told anyone "worship me!" (as God Himself does in many places), therefore, once again, we are told that Jesus was "hinting" that he wants us to worship him. However, as we can plainly see, what the author was in fact saying in these verses is that these people "fell at Jesus' feet," or that these people "knelt before Jesus." How then shall we interpret their "kneeling down before Jesus."? Should we understand that they were "praying" to him? Far from it! Let us ask the Bible to explain: "And when Abigail saw David, she hasted, and lighted off the ass, and fell before David on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, And fell at his feet, and said, Upon me, my lord, [upon] me [let this] iniquity [be]: and let thine handmaid, I pray thee, speak in thine audience, and hear the words of thine handmaid." 1 Samuel 25:23-24 When Abigail "fell before" king David was she "worshipping" him? Was she "praying" to him? When she addressed him as "my lord," did she mean that he was her God?. Similarly, "Then she went in, and fell at his (Elisha's) feet, and bowed herself to the ground, and took up her son, and went out." 2 Kings 4:37 "And his (Joseph's) brethren also went and fell down before his face; and they said, Behold, we [be] thy servants." Genesis 50:18 "And there went over a ferry boat to carry over the king's household, and to do what he thought good. And Shimei the son of Gera fell down before the king, as he was come over Jordan;" 2 Samuel 19:18 "Worship" is one of those English words which carry a double meaning. The one most popular among most people is "to pray to." This is the meaning that immediately springs into everyone's mind when they read this word. However, "worship" has another meaning. It also means "to respect," "to reverence," or "to adore" (see for example Merriam Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, tenth edition). The second meaning is used more frequently in England than, for example, in the United States. However, the first remains the most popular and well known meaning in any English speaking country. Even at that, in Britain it is not at all uncommon even in this age to find the British addressing their nobles as "your worship." What the translators have done when translating these verse is that they have "technically" translated the word correctly, however, the true meaning of this word is now completely lost. Finally, in order to seal the proof of this matter and to dispel any lingering doubt that may remain in the reader's mind, the reader is encouraged to obtain a copy of the "New English Bible." In it they will find the translations of the quoted verses to read: 1."bowed to the ground" (2:11); 2."fell at his feet" (14:33); 3."falling prostrate before him" (28:9), and 4."fell prostrate before him" (28:17)...etc. Please also read the translation of these verses in "The Complete Bible, an American Translation" By Edward Goodspeed and J. M. Powis Smith where they are once again honestly translated as: 1."they threw themselves down and did homage to him" (2:11), 2."fell down before him"(14:33), 3."and they went up to him and clasped his feed and bowed to the ground before him" (28:9), and 4."bowed down before him"(28:17), etc. Indeed, it is not at all uncommon in the Bible to read of men "worshipping" the prophets of God. For example, the pagan king of Babilonia is described as "Then the king Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face, and worshipped Daniel, and commanded that they should offer an oblation and sweet odours unto him. The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth [it is], that your God [is] a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret. Then the king made Daniel a great man, and gave him many great gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief of the governors over all the wise [men] of Babylon" Daniel 2:46-48 This verse, like those which describe prophet Jesus (pbuh) in the Bible, are describing the act of "prostration" or "bowing one's head to the ground" out of respect and reverence. It does not mean that the king was praying to prophet Daniel (pbuh). When people read similar descriptions of people "falling to the ground" before prophet Jesus (pbuh) they immediately insist that Jesus (pbuh) must be God since he was condoning their "prayers" and did not object. However, here we have and example of another prophet of God who "did not object" to the "worship" of others. Does this mean that prophet Daniel too is God? Obviously not. We need to take the Bible as a literary whole and apply a consistent standard in all cases in order to arrive at the true meaning of its words. Once again, we remember that such sublime manipulation of the translation in order to establish with the reader a chosen doctrine was exposed by God in the noble Qur'an. The Qur'an says: "There is among them a party who distort the Scripture with their tongues that you might think that it is from the Scripture, when it is not from the Scripture; and they say, 'It is from God,' but it is not from God; and they speak a lie against God, and [well] they know it!" Official written copy by Uthman The Quran was originally revealed in Quraishi dialect of Arabic. But to facilitate the people who speak other dialects, in their understanding and comprehension, Allah revealed the Quran finally in seven dialects of Arabic. During the period of Caliph Uthman (third successor to the Prophet) differences in reading the Quran among the various tribes became obvious, due to the various dialectical recitations. Dispute was arising, with each tribe calling its recitation as the correct one. This alarmed Uthman, who made an official copy in the Quraishi dialect, the dialect in which the Quran was revealed to the Prophet and was memorized by his companions. Thus this compilation by Uthman's Committee is not a different version of the Quran (like the Biblical versions) but the same original revelation given to the Prophet by One God, Allah. Narrated Anas bin Malik: Hudhaifa bin Al-Yaman came to Uthman at the time when the people of Sham (Syria) and the people of Iraq were waging war to conquer Armenia and Azherbijan. Hudhaifa was afraid of their differences in the recitation of the Quran, so he said to Uthman, 'O chief of the Believers! Save this nation before they differ about the Book (Quran) as Jews and Christians did before'. So Uthman sent a message to Hafsa saying, 'Send us the manuscripts of the Quran so that we may compile the Quranic materials in perfect copies and return the manuscripts to you'. Hafsa sent it to Uthman. 'Uthman then ordered Zaid bin Thabit, 'Abdullah bin Az-Zubair, Said bin Al-As and Abdur Rahman bin Harith bin Hisham to rewrite the manuscripts in perfect copies. Uthman said to the three Quraishi men, 'In case you disagree with Zaid bin Thabit on any point in the Quran, then write it in their (Quraishi) tongue'. They did so, and when they had written many copies, Uthman sent to every Muslim province one copy of what they had copied and ordered that all the other Quranic materials whether written in fragmentary manuscripts or whole copies, be burnt…" [29] Again a very stringent criteria was set up by this Committee to prevent any alteration of the Revelation. 1. The earlier recension (Original copy prepared by Abu Bakr) was to serve as the principal basis of the new one. [30] 2. Any doubt that might be raised as to the phrasing of a particular passage in the written text was to be dispelled by summoning persons known to have learned the passage in question from the Prophet. [31] 3. Uthman himself was to supervise the work of the Council. [32] When the final recension was completed, Uthman sent a copy of it to each of the major cities of Makka, Damascus, Kufa, Basra and Madina. The action of Uthman to burn the other copies besides the final recension, though obviously drastic, was for the betterment and harmony of the whole community and was unanimously approved by the Companions of the Prophet. Zaid ibn Thabit is reported to have said: "I saw the Companions of Muhammad (going about) saying, 'By God, Uthman has done well! By God, Uthman has done well!" [33] Another esteemed Companion Musab ibn Sad ibn Abi Waqqas said: "I saw the people assemble in large number at Uthman's burning of the prescribed copies (of the Quran), and they were all pleased with his action; not a one spoke out against him". [34] Ali ibn Abu Talib, the cousin of the Prophet and the fourth successor to the Prophet commented: "If I were in command in place of Uthman, I would have done the same". [35] Of the copies made by Uthman, two still exist to our day. One is in the city of Tashkent, (Uzbekistan) and the second one is in Istanbul (Turkey). Below is a brief account of both these copies: 1. The copy which Uthman sent to Madina was reportedly removed by the Turkish authorities to Istanbul, from where it came to Berlin during World War I. The Treaty of Versailles, which concluded World War I, contains the following clause: 'Article 246: Within six months from the coming into force of the present Treaty, Germany will restore to His Majesty, King of Hedjaz, the original Koran of Caliph Othman, which was removed from Madina by the Turkish authorities and is stated to have been presented to the ex-Emperor William II". [36] 'This manuscript then reached Istanbul, but not Madina (Where it now resides)'. [37] 2. The second copy in existence is kept in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. 'It may be the Imam (master) manuscript or one of the other copies made at the time of Uthman'. [38] It Came to Samarkand in 890 Hijra (1485) and remained there till 1868. Then it was taken to St.Petersburg by the Russians in 1869. It remained there till 1917. A Russian orientalist gave a detailed description of it, saying that many pages were damaged and some were missing. A facsimile, some 50 copies, of this mushaf (copy) was produced by S.Pisareff in 1905. A copy was sent to the Ottoman Sultan 'Abdul Hamid, to the Shah of Iran, to the Amir of Bukhara, to Afghanistan, to Fas and some important Muslim personalities. One copy is now in the Columbia University Library (U.S.A.). [39] 'The Manuscript was afterwards returned to its former place and reached Tashkent in 1924, where it has remained since'. [40]

HOW TO PROVE...BIBLE GOT CORRUPTED Set up criteria for a Book from Allah - Does any other Book besides Quran fulfull this criteria? Divinely inspired? At one place the Bible says that all Scripture is inspired (II Timothy 3:16), but Paul says in his writing: And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord... But to the rest I speak, not the Lord, Now concerning virgins I have no command of the Lord, yet I give my judgement (I Corinthians 7:10,12,25). Also see II Timothy 4:9,13: 'Do your diligence to come shortly unto me. The cloak that I left at Troas with Carpus, when you come, bring it with you, and the books, but specially the parchments.' No contradictions? See pages on Contradictions All prophesies fulfilled as prophesied? Jesus was supposed to rule the throne of David forever - Luke 1:32,33 Second coming was to take place in the life of the Disciples - Matt. 16:27,28 Paul said that second coming will be in his lifetime - I Thess. 4:16,17. Jesus would be buried three days and three nights - Matt. 12:40 Supposedly buried on Friday (Mark 14:42), and risen on Sunday - how 3 days and 3 nights?! Preserved from corruption? see pages on contradictions, unscientific facts, etc. Preserved from perishment? 'And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying: Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousand of his saints to execute judgement upon all...' (Jude 1:14,15) Book of Enoch once existed and was accepted by early church fathers and had the right of a canonical book. -Encyclopedia Biblica. So where is that book now? And where is the original Gospel preached by Jesus? Unembarrassed to read it - I am too embarrassed to talk about it www.islamawareness.net/Dawah/dawahbook.html

We are in the era where it's really hard to not commit what is prohibited, because even though you're truthful, the system around you are forcing you to commit it. Like ZN said it's really hard to find any islamic bank that is 100% islamic. There are other option, if you don't have money, then don't buy anything and taking any loans. It's better to save enough money to purchase it later. But let's be real, something in this world, you cannot buy it in cash or directly from a seller. You're required to make a loan from bank (bank will pay the seller, and you need to pay the bank). It just so hard to run from it

Mistake in the Concept of Karma Hindus believe in Karma (i.e. the accumulated sum of one’s good and bad deeds) and in Punarjanma (i.e. the transfer of one’s soul after death into another body). This produces a continuing cycle of birth, life, death and rebirth through their many lifetimes. It is Karma that determines how a person will live his next life. Through pure acts, thoughts and devotion, one can be reborn at a higher level. Bad deeds can cause a person to be reborn at a lower level, even as an animal. The unequal distribution of wealth, prestige, suffering are thus seen as natural consequences for one’s previous acts, both in this life and in previous lives. Bhagavad Gita’s emphasis is on “Karma Yoga” which means the performance of one’s duties with no regard to their fruits, as expressed in the words of Krishna to Arjuna: You have a duty to perform your prescribed action, but you should not be concerned about the fruits of your action. Never consider yourself the cause of the results of your activities, and never be associated to not doing your duty. (Bhagavad Gita 2:47) Addressing Arjuna’s compunctions about killing his relatives arrayed on the enemy side, Krishna advises him to disregard traditional values and act without worrying about the results of his action. Krishna says: The wise men who reached true knowledge see with equal vision a Brahmin (a member of the highest caste), a cow, an elephant, a dog and a dog-eater. (Bhagavad Gita 5:18). Krishna argues that it is actually impossible to kill anyone, as the soul (atman) is immortal: Those who think that they can kill or those that think they can be killed are confused in the manifestations of ignorance. The infinite, immortal soul can neither kill nor be killed. (Bhagavad Gita 2:19) Therefore Arjuna is free to kill his relatives, considering them only temporary abiding forms for the eternal self, mere mortal frames. The problem here is that the same perspective of moral values (Gita 2:19, quoted above) may be adopted by a wicked person to clear his conscience while doing evil acts, if “detachment” is the norm. The only condition is that he should rise above all material considerations to do his deeds. Krishna tells Arjuna: Consider all your acts as acts of devotion to me, whether eating, offering, giving away, performing austerities. Perform them as an offering to me. In this way you will be free from Karma, you will be liberated and you will come to me. (Bhagavad Gita 9:27). To the Hindus, Karma is a sum of all that an individual has done, is currently doing and will do. Karma continues until one attains Moksha or Mukti, i.e. liberation from the cycle of death and rebirth to be one with the Parmatma or the Oversoul. That is to say, Karma creates present and future experiences. But in the Gita itself, Lord Krishna says that he saves those who worship him (12:6-7) and punishes those who are envious and mischievous (16:19). This is certainly a contradiction of the law of Karma, which is a law that functions by itself, with no external control. And also it goes counter to his teaching about detachment. He says about himself: “I see all creatures equally disposed and I am not partial to anyone.” (Bhagavad Gita 9:29). At the same time Krishna is in fact partial to Arjuna in the battlefield, by serving as his charioteer and military advisor! There is another inconsistency regarding the character of Krishna. In the Gita, Krishna is called the Supreme Lord of the Universe (5:29), eternal (4:6) and the source of all existence: I am the source of all spiritual and material worlds. Everything emanates from me. (Bhagavad Gita 10:8) And again: At the end of an era (kalpa) all creatures disintegrate into my nature and at the beginning of another era I manifest them again. Such it is my nature (prakriti) to follow again and again the pattern of the Infinite manifestations and disintegrations. (Bhagavad Gita 9:7-8) That is to say, Krishna has to follow the pattern of the Infinite manifestations and disintegrations automatically, under the obligation of prakriti“. Krishna‘s Contradictions Dasgupta comments on the contradictory personal character of Krishna saying that: The Gita combines together different conceptions of God without feeling the necessity of reconciling the oppositions or contradictions involved in them. It does not seem to be aware of the philosophical difficulty of combining the concept of God as unmanifested, differenceless entity with the notion of Him as the super-person Who incarnates Himself on earth in the human form and behaves in the human manner. It is not aware of the difficulty that, if all good and evil should have emanated from God, and if there be ultimately no moral responsibility, and if everything in the world should have the same place in God, there is no reason why God should trouble to incarnate Himself as man, when there is a disturbance of the Vedic dharma. If God is impartial to all, and if He is absolutely unperturbed, why should He favor the man who clings to Him, and why, for his sake, overrule the world-order of events and in his favor suspend the law of Karma? (S. Dasgupta,Indian Philosophy, Motilal Banarsidass, 1991, vol. 2, p. 533) The Conglomeration of Hinduism Hinduism is often described as polytheistic religion, one which worships several gods and goddesses. But at the same time it is also viewed as a monotheistic religion, because it recognizes the pantheistic principle of Brahman that all reality is a unity. And some view Hinduism as tritheistic, because of their belief in Brahma the Creator, Vishnu the Preserver, and Shiva the Destroyer. In short, Hinduism is an utterly diverse conglomerate of doctrines, cults, and ways of life. It is both a civilization and a complex of religious philosophies, with neither a beginning, nor a founder, nor a central authority, hierarchy, or organization. And its advocates often counter critics by saying that the contradictions and incongruities in Hinduism serve to show its comprehensive nature as a sign of its strength rather than of weakness. I dont think that there are any 100% halal banks at all. All the so called islamic banks of UAE and KSA belong to the royal familys' which in turn keep their money in Swiss banks or invest into the western economies which function by rebah. Dr. Naik knows this pretty well. And its easy to do dawah when somebody is giving you money for living. Saudi King gave Dr. Naik $200k, how come Dr. Naik could accept it while he knows that this money is coming from King's pocket which he hasnt earned in halal way.

It is understood that Riba is prohibited unarguably, but does it mean Interest rate and the Riba same ? it is the question to answer, Further, need to clarify what is intensive meaning of Riba not as just defining interest. The interest element has the controlling power and make money market equilibrium whereas if such equalizing Interest rate to Riba bring entire world into Haram concept. Almihgty clearly stated that he permitted Business and prohibited Riba. Therefore it is very important to identify what is Riba not as defined Interest. According to my knowledge interest rate is not Riba.

What Non-Muslim Scholars Say About the Quran? Goethe, quoted in T.P. Hughes' DICTIONARY OF ISLAM, p. 526. "The Koran admittedly occupies an important position among the great religious books of the world. Though the youngest of the epoch-making works belonging to this class of literature, it yields to hardly any in the wonderful effect which it has produced on large masses of men. It has created an all but new phase of human thought and a fresh type of character. It first transformed a number of heterogeneous desert tribes of the Arabian peninsula into a nation of heroes, and then proceeded to create the vast politico-religious organizations of the Muhammadan world which are one of the great forces with which Europe and the East have to reckon today." G. Margoliouth, Introduction to J.M. Rodwell's, THE KORAN, New York: Everyman's Library, 1977, p. vii. "A work, then, which calls forth so powerful and seemingly incompatible emotions even in the distant reader - distant as to time, and still more so as a mental development - a work which not only conquers the repugnance which he may begin its perusal, but changes this adverse feeling into astonishment and admiration, such a work must be a wonderful production of the human mind indeed and a problem of the highest interest to every thoughtful observer of the destinies of mankind." Dr. Steingass, quoted in T.P. Hughes' DICTIONARY OF ISLAM, pp. 526-527. "The above observation makes the hypothesis advanced by those who see Muhammad as the author of the Qur'an untenable. How could a man, from being illiterate, become the most important author, in terms of literary merits, in the whole of Arabic literature? How could he then pronounce truths of a scientific nature that no other human being could possibly have developed at that time, and all this without once making the slightest error in his pronouncement on the subject?" Maurice Bucaille, THE BIBLE, THE QUR'AN AND SCIENCE, 1978, p. 125. "Here, therefore, its merits as a literary production should perhaps not be measured by some preconceived maxims of subjective and aesthetic taste, but by the effects which it produced in Muhammad's contemporaries and fellow countrymen. If it spoke so powerfully and convincingly to the hearts of his hearers as to weld hitherto centrifugal and antagonistic elements into one compact and well-organized body, animated by ideas far beyond those which had until now ruled the Arabian mind, then its eloquence was perfect, simply because it created a civilized nation out of savage tribes, and shot a fresh woof into the old warp of history." Dr. Steingass, quoted in T.P. Hughes' DICTIONARY OF ISLAM, p.528. "In making the present attempt to improve on the performance of my predecessors, and to produce something which might be accepted as echoing however faintly the sublime rhetoric of the Arabic Koran, I have been at pains to study the intricate and richly varied rhythms which - apart from the message itself - constitute the Koran's undeniable claim to rank amongst the greatest literary masterpieces of mankind... This very characteristic feature - 'that inimitable symphony,' as the believing Pickthall described his Holy Book, 'the very sounds of which move men to tears and ecstasy' - has been almost totally ignored by previous translators; it is therefore not surprising that what they have wrought sounds dull and flat indeed in comparison with the splendidly decorated original." Arthur J. Arberry, THE KORAN INTERPRETED, London: Oxford University Press, 1964, p. x. "A totally objective examination of it [the Qur'an] in the light of modern knowledge, leads us to recognize the agreement between the two, as has been already noted on repeated occasions. It makes us deem it quite unthinkable for a man of Muhammad's time to have been the author of such statements on account of the state of knowledge in his day. Such considerations are part of what gives the Qur'anic Revelation its unique place, and forces the impartial scientist to admit his inability to provide an explanation which calls solely upon materialistic reasoning." Maurice Bucaille, THE QUR'AN AND MODERN SCIENCE, 1981, p. 18

Maurice Bucaille (1920-1998) is not a credible author on islam. He was a french physician and private scholar. He was at times a personal physician to the family of king faisal of saudi arabia and the family of Egyptian President Anwar el-Sadat. In 1976, Bucaille published the controversial work “La Bible, le Coran et la Science”, in which he presented his views on the Judeo-Christian Revelation and the quran. It established the school of "bucaillism", popular in the islamic world, according to which the quran should contain about 1,200 passages that anticipate the findings of modern science, claim rejected by secular scientists. Indeed, if the scientific facts and the miracles of the quran would be true, this would have been largely recognised by scientists at large. Much of the fundamentalist's evidence for this alleged miracle is dubious, since it represents scientific knowledge that had been known in both the mediterranean and middle east for centuries before the quran was written. For instance, the quran gets cosmology wrong. That is the case of the origin of the universe and of earth, for the latter the quran is wrong on the order of the creation (what has been created at what day) and that the earth was formed from smoke and not from gas or plasma. In the view of Richard Carrier, the quran is “a human, fallible, primitive work of a bygone age, ineloquent and inappropriate for our times”.

DEMONSTRATION OF THE EXISTENCE AND ONENESS OF GOD 1- introduction and divine uniqueness 2-existence of God 3-rules of application. 1- First of all, let us define reason and see its reliability: reason consists in understanding, ordering, prohibiting or administering through its distinction between good and evil to reach the reasonable one who serves and does not serve. Let's see if reason is reliable:everyone of good reason confirms that reason is educated by its environment from a young age in order to distinguish good from evil, true from false,it starts with: fire or needle hurts, milk makes good, then truth and lie, with internal and external verification by experience, then we generalize to the extension of reason (like happiness and unhappiness) and to the abstract by returning from time to time to the experience of reason by recognized examples, so we can say that reason is reliable. As for the ego, the self, it has its importance in my subject, because it compares and seeks (in cooperation with the reason) the ideal, the most powerful because the top is the most reasonable for him otherwise if a strong thing is not enough for him,he will get tired of it and look for something stronger than it, he'll be unhappy, in relative insecurity, because he's looking for the solid pillar, hence the expression "in myself something" to say that it's not satisfactory. Definition of worship in religion: to submit oneself to a being or a thing by love and veneration, to believe that it is useful and harmful (we see the link with the definition of reason and its combination with the ego and that then we live to worship anything and in a correct and reasonable way we seek "summit" happiness (for the ego, the summit is the most satisfying for the heart-ego) through that being or that thing since we take the reasonable). Definition of a god:a god is a being or a thing that we worship or is worshipful (worshipful=which deserves to be worshipped),we will be satisfied (this is the goal) to take the definition of a god as a being or a thing that is worshipful Equivalence "a god" and "he is a creator (from nothing)": A creator (from nothing) is a god: everything around us is made up of already existing elements, so creation from nothing is superior and it is the most impressive form of creation so it is summit (the heart and the ego confirm), so any creator from nothing is a god. Every god is a creator: if a god was not a creator then he would not deserve to be a god because God the Necessary Being (see part 2) is a creator (the creator see 2), therefore superior to that god, therefore that god does not deserve (for reason and ego) to be a god, he does not bring anything more, hence every god is a creator.Hence the equivalence. God the creator, the necessary being is the summit for the heart-ego: if he had a superior then that superior would be unknown, erased, moreover for the heart-ego it would imply that the necessary being is no longer a god (the heart-ego sees higher) therefore no longer a creator whereas it is the necessary being (contradiction) therefore that superior is not a god therefore is not a creator therefore God is uncreated and is at the summit. God is unique: if there were two different gods (at the summit), then either their will is different, then either each god applies his will (as they are gods it applies to the whole universe (not erased god)) then it is impossible (if their will is different at the same point),seeing the universe as it is without defect, and it is harmonious( else:if the different will of each god at a same point applies we then have a form of contradiction, from which we have the same will (contraposition)) and If one of the two gods imposes his will on the other, then the other is weak and therefore is no longer a god (contradiction), so their will coincides on everything, so it means that one flatters (strokes) the other, so it makes the ego-heart feel a weakness of this god in its power, so is no longer a god, so there is only one god, or again: if the two gods have their will which coincides in every point ,then they constitute a god of their union but God being at the top (the ideal), an indivisible god who creates, possesses and administers everything by himself is more impressive than several gods together, hence God is unique in every case. This reasoning applies even if there is a universe we do not know, because God (worshipful) must act everywhere otherwise he is no longer a god. 2-existence of God: There is an administrator for the universe:any example:a palace hyper organized in decorations, arrangements, household,if you are told:this palace does not have a butler(administrator),you will answer:it is not possible that it happens by itself without anybody, your distinctive healthy reason rejects it (you are not crazy),therefore all the more so (a fortiori): (organization much, much better than the palace) all the organization and harmony of nature and the universe make you reject that there is no administrator for the whole universe (we can already say that it is unique, the cycles and others are the mark of the same author, for example nike is the mark of a single manufacturer, example of all the atoms of the universe same process therefore same mark therefore same author), so there is an administrator for the whole universe, and even it is obliged to think that otherwise it is chaos,. ..and many many other examples like the ship without a captain,... there is a creator of the universe: You see a humanoid walking around and you're told no one created him. You're not crazy. Your reason will reject that.So a fortiori, all the more so Your good reason will reject that man has no creator. So There is a creator of the universe, and so on throughout creation, but again the whole universe has the same mark (like nike), so the same author, so the creator is unique and the administration of his creation is the same (layout, arrangement of the way of creating) so the creator is the administrator. As He is unique, He is the great owner of the universe, and He is the one who makes the rules of the universe (such as the instructions of the electrical appliances (operation, maintenance), so it has been proved that the universe has one Lord (the Creator, the owner and the administrator) and He is the only one who deserves to be worshipped, so He is the only God. Otherwise, as God the Creator is at the top, He is also the owner and the administrator. All this is the domain of the reasonable and if you come out of it you are no longer in the reasonable (chaos). Conclusion: Divine existence and oneness are then demonstrated by reason, but reason does not say everything that God wants from us, hence the prophets and messengers. 3- Application: The verse of the Qur'an that says that there is no god except Allah means that there is no one worthy of worship except Allah, so it means that there is no imperfection on any face, so the Qur'an, its word, has no imperfection since it is one of its characteristics and therefore one face of its perfection, Therefore, by the perfection of the Qur'an (read it in Arabic to see this reality and its explanation) and the uniqueness of the true (you must respect the rules of this book if you are honest) you must take the best interpretation of the verses and the Sunnah (path) of the Prophet (the Qur'an calls to follow the Prophet therefore apply his hadiths (hadiths=words in Arabic) and you must reconcile between the verses (of the Qur'an) and the verses, and verses/hadiths hadiths/hadiths (authentic) because the truth is quite unique and the best sought after is perfection (so correct yours intentions), for example the thief the penalty starts at 1/4 gold dinar, it costs (recently) 39€ for its weight in gold whereas a meal costs 5€, source: the pious predecessors (rule: the Koran says to follow the prophet and the prophet spoke of the first three generations which are the best and he said (ask your heart for clarification), and Allah calls in the Koran to the good and known between the good people (conciliation), etc,. .go on with the rest of the rules of Islam if you are honest (seek the best, perfection, truth, conciliation). There are rules in Islam and if you don't follow them you find imperfections (which reflect your bad intention), while when you correct your intention you find perfection (it exists, scholars communicate it to each other, I have been reading books about Islam in Arabic for a long time, I testify and I testify that this perfection exists. Why don't you take it if it is possible and the rules of Islam are to take it, hence your attacks are unfounded since this is not what God and his prophet mean (i.e : your words that it is imperfection). ..

@@albertnawab9211 no one should change the poles and basic rules of Islam either you like it or not , now what people chose to do it’s their own business and responsibility. Banks are not supposed to exist because they can’t be halal 100% Muslims following the western cultures now that’s their own mistake. We have our own economic rules that should satisfy us if they were followed properly. Changing Islam to accommodate what the western culture brought to us that is totally haram. So depending on everyone’s level of Eman you will chose to avoid them completely or use them like anyone elee Also at the time of prophet Pbuh there was a surly and bank system of some sort and that’s why Islamic came and stopped that. Finding and Following Jesus: The Muslim Claim to the Messiah Jesus was “God’s word conveyed to Mary and a spirit from him” (Qur’an 4:171) but he remained only the son of Mary (Qur’an 5:110), not of God. The Qur’an understands literally the notion of a son and therefore rejects a consort for God (Qur’an 6:101; 72:3) who has no son, only honored servants (Qur’an 21:26). There are no saviors, only prophets who warn. Nor are there any intercessors-unless God wills otherwise. He alone has the power to forgive sins and to answer His creatures’ prayers for help and guidance.Yesous Yeshu‘a, rendered ‘Joshua’ in English. The Hebrew original contains the idea of being a savior. ‘Isa has no meaning in Arabic or in Hebrew and its use might startle Christians since they expect Yeshu‘a or Yesu‘a to be the relevant Arabic transliteration. God made Jesus and his mother ayah) for humanity, a mercy (rahmah) from God, his miraculous birth “a matter foreordained” (Qur’an 19:21). Muslims proclaim Jesus as a sign of God (ayatu Allah) for all humanity (Qur’an 19:21) but not a (or the) son of God. The Qur’an also calls Muhammaﷺrahmah to all the worlds (21:107) and eulogizes the Word of God as a mercy and healing for believers (17:82; 41:44). The Greek Christos (anointed one) is a translation of the Hebrew meshiakh, meaning someone selected for a sacred role or special honor. It can refer to any chosen or regal personage. Al-Masih is probably an Arabic transliteration of the Hebrew. But what does al-Masih mean or intend in the Qur’an? The Arabic verb ma/sa/ha, like its virtually identical Hebrew cognate, means to rub lightly with water or oil; formal washings before Muslim ritual prayers require this light touch or anointment with water (Qur’an 5:6). The Qur’an’s description of Jesuعليهالسلامal-Masih ‘Isa ibn Maryam (3:45). In Judaism, ‘the Christ’ functions as an indefinite description since the identity of the true claimant must be distinguished from false pretenders. The referent of the phrase remains disputed: Jews are still waiting for the messiah. In first-century Palestine, the messiah’s lineage and identity were topics of fierce sectarian dispute. The self-segregated Qumran community expected two messiahs, one royal (of Davidic descent) and one priestly. In prophecy, an indefinite description is made partly definite; a proper name may or may not supplement the title. Thus, “His name is Ahmad” (Qur’an 61:6) can function as an attributive adjectival appellation or merely a proper (nominal or content-less) name while “His name is John” ( Yahya; Qur’an 19:7) simply introduces a proper name. The Qur’an denies the crucifixion (4:157), a fact that further defines the Messiah. God would not permit such a one to die a shameful death. In later Muslim piety, Jesu was ‘translated,’ a technical Christian term for describing ascent into heaven, without the normal precondition of bodily death. Allah exalted Jesus to himself. The Qur’an’s denial of Jesus’ crucifixion obviates the need for his resurrection but the Islamic scripture attests to Jesus’ ascension, understood as his miraculous entry into heaven through God’s direct intervention (see Qur’an 3:55; 4:157-8; 5:116-117). Only Luke mentions the Ascension of the risen Christ (24:50-51) after his resurrection and adds in Acts (1:1-3) that this event took place forty days after his resurrection. (Mark 16:19 mentions it too but this passage is absent from the most reliable early manuscripts and other ancient witnesses.) IV. The New Testament Jesus in the Light of the Qur’an The New Testament writers considered Jesus to be the messianic descendant of King David . For Christians, Jesus’ humiliating death was simply a fulfillment of divine prophecy: he was innocent of the accusations made against him by the establishment. While claiming that Muhammad’s advent was promised in antecedent scripture, the Qur’an never calls Jesus the promised messiah. This may be because the Qur’an recognizes at best only the Torah (Pentateuch of Moses) as scripture. For Jews, the Masoretic text of the Hebrew Bible, what Christians effectively dismiss as the ‘Old’ Testament, has three levels of holiness. After the Torah, the prophetic oracles quoting direct divine speech form the second holiest portion, the Nebi’im (Prophets) division. The messianic prophecies are concentrated here but, as in the third portion, the Ketub’im (Writings), much of this prophetic material is humanly composed and has been partly corrupted in transmission and through unauthorized scribal amplification. al-Injil) to confirm the Torah (al-Taurah). The Qur’an reveals that the Gospel vouchsafed to Jesus was a relaxed version of the Torah (Qur’an 3:50). Some laws imposed on the Children of Israel seemed prejudicially rigorous but, the Qur’an explains, these laws were intended to be conspicuously rigorous-as a just punishment for their specific iniquities and persistent delinquencies (Qur’an 6:146). However, the Qur’an does not suggest that the Gospel was a law-free version of the Torah or in some way legally or morally superior to it. The Qur’an concurs with the sum verdict of Matthew’s gospel: Jesu Abba (heavenly Father) scandalized his Pharisee critics. The Jesus of the Qur’an enjoys a close relationship with God, despite not addressing him as Father. So long as the believer does not obliterate his or her identity but remains distinct from God, Islam salutes the closeness of such mystical piety. The Qur’an speaks of the signs of God in nature and human nature (3:190; 30:20-25). John’s gospel, too, sees the actions of Jesu In the Qur’an and the Prophet’s canonical sayings, al-Masih is the Lord’s anointed, an accolade conferred uniquely on Jesus Islam pays special tribute to Jesus but not in a way that would satisfy the highly ambitious credal and ecclesial requirements of orthodox Christology. For Christians, the Muslim Jesus is a dull, predictable figure, a mere prophet, of whom there are legion in the Bible and the Qur’an. He would resemble the harmless figure of the cultural Jesus whose message can entertain kids at Christmas and Easter. This may sound like a caricature or parody of the Qur’anic Jesus but the Christian point is that only the adult version is the real Jesus, the incarnate God who suffered on a cross to secure redemption for sinful Adam and all his descendants. The Islamic Jesus appears as the real Jesus but minus the distinctive and unsettling aspects of his life, nature, and mission. as a miraculously created being, appointed a prophet and messiah, the seal of the prophets of Israel, and essentially no more. Otherwise, the Christological deadlock shall remain permanent. For Muslims, the Jesus of Christian faith will remain a divisive figure whose mission cannot provide a basis for genuinely harmonious coexistence among the adherents of the Semitic trio of revealed faiths. The Qur’an envisages these three groups disputing in front of their Lord on the day of resurrection (Qur’an 5:48).Muslims are religiously obliged to demonstrate that Jesus himself preached only a pure monotheism. Only then can we prove that the Muslim Jesus was the true leader of the Jesus movement. No Muslim can take as a leader someone who rejects or compromises strict Abrahamic monotheism. This is an essential qualification for anyone who claims to be a leader or exemplar for Muslims. entertained the prevalent Jewish view, he would have seen his role as that of a revolutionary, a zealous prophet and a human messiah who would deliver the Jews from the political bondage of Gentile nations. Christian tradition has bestowed countless honorific titles on Jesus who, as Christ, enjoys the role of messiah, naturally, but also prophet, priest, and king. According to Christian doctrine, during Christ’s divinely willed but humanly accepted humiliation on earth, he was a mere servant under the law, voluntarily divested of his regal divine majesty; in his later exaltation as Lord, after the resurrection from the dead, he rose above the law. Leaving aside the Muslim caveat that Allah would never humiliate his messenger, did Jesus proclaim himself the Son of God and/or God? . Objective historical and critical scholarship on Jesus for the past 100 years confirms the truth of the Qur’anic portrait as both converge on a Jewish Jesus. Islam is not annexing or colonizing the Christian Jesus, merely rescuing the historical character from the clutches of later church conjecture and dogma. Christians are called to change and meet Muslims on Muslim ground since the entire Qur’an is unchanged and unchangeable. By contrast, both testaments of the Bible are widely acknowledged by Jewish and Christian scholars themselves to be mainly edicts that evolved over centuries, under human if inspired redaction, the texts being, in the case of the New Testament, in demotic Greek while reporting the classical Aramaic speech of Jesus

He didnt say that. He said some are more legit than others. Finance is a massive field and the question was broad. Its like asking if eating is haraam. There are aspects of eating which are haraam i.e. eating pork, driking alcohol but we dont go and say eating in and of itself is haraam. That would be silly. All legitimate islamic banks have a sharia advisory board which reviews and approves or rejects the products. Find a bank that has scholars you trust and if you can take a course on islamic finance given by a professional.

If you work in a bank which involves with riba then this is haram because we should not come close to riba. There are plenty of banks which are Islamic and do not contain any form of riba.
