Thanks for the video and for breaking it down for me. The remote and the ball valve works when I wire it to a drill battery. But when I hard wire it to the deep cycle battery that my softwash pump is tied into, the remote doesn’t work and the LED light and the ball valve doesn’t turn either. Any thought on this phenomenon????

Make sure your battery is charged. I believe the electric valve only above 9 volts.

For those that don't know. That red and black wire that is in the white sheeting that runs off to the battery supply is marine grade wire.

So it should be 1/4” hose from SH into the junction box through the electric ball valve then 1/4” hose out of the box to the DS injector correct?

There are multiple things that can make it stop working. Voltage, bad valve, wiring, etc. I would start with testing the voltage. Thanks

Any issues with the receivers? Mine started going bad at 5 months. Ordered another to build a back-up unit and it was bad. Replacement receiver was bad too. :(

More than likely you did not buy the auto return valve. The auto return feature allows the valve to close when power is cut off to the valve. Hope this helps. Thanks

You can use 1/2" to 1/4" barb fittings. Not sure if that is what you are wanting to do. Thanks

I bought a soapbox for $500 they came with a is for downstreaming injector for the 4 gallons in a power washer but if you just change out the half inch barbs I can use it I can use it for my software 12-volt and Save 750 then buying another one for my Software System I don't mind changing the barbs out from for the soft wash to the downstream for the power washer for the that just doesn't make any sense in my opinion I have two soap boxes that does the exact same thing thank you for your information

Thanks for all the info and parts list. I put mine together just like you showed but when I press on, I can hear valve open, when I press off, nothing happens. All I can hear is relay cutting off and in and green light on relay turns on and off. But ball valve want close back. Ever had this happen? Thank you

Do you have the auto return ball valve? If you do, then you can test it directly on the battery. If you connect the two wires from the valve to the battery it should open. When you remove the wires from the battery, it should close. Thanks

Check the batteries in the remote. The light on the remote should turn on regardless of the switch being on/ off. Thanks

If you hook everything up and only hear a click when push the on button. Would you assume bad ball valve? And will the ones with more then 2 wires work? Everyone’s out of 2 wire

I would assume bad valve or weak battery. The 5 wire valves may work if you can figure out the wiring. I have a couple of questions. I'm just a little confused on how you have the downstream injector hooked up. Where does the hose hook up to the injector exactly. I have hose reels but I don't run Chem through them. Just use them for storing all my hoses. I saw the other video where you hooked the hose up to the hose reel. I just need a visual on how you run the injector hose completely. And also I see you have the wire sleeve that you ran the black & white wires through. I like that. Where did you get that. Thanks.

I use a quick coupler on my DS injector and connect it swivel on the reel. The injector hose goes from my DS injector to the remote box then to the SH tank. The wire came with the jacket around it to protect it. Thanks

I love this cost friendly setup because i may actually be able to afford it, one question. Could this be used to replace the ball valvve on the downstream injector so flow wouldnt be lost? Doing it this way in the line still forces the rinse mode through the injector correct? Or am I misunderstanding?

Your thought process is correct, but the US Solid valve is not rated for the high pressure from my understanding. If you can find a high pressure electric valve, then it will work. Thanks

I have ordered 3 remote switches so far. The first wouldn't even light up. The other 2 just keep blinking and won't pair to any remote. Do u have an idea what I'm doing wrong? Thank in advance

I never got a bad remote. I would check to make sure you have a good battery & good batteries in the remote. I also never had to pair the remote. Thanks

So in theory can you just take out the ball & spring completely in the downstream injector and leave it out since the new ball valve takes over for it?

It could be a number of reasons. Do you rinse really well? If new and don't close, maybe a bad valve? Make sure it is a auto close valve. Thanks

Not sure about the colors on that harness. It looks like the blue wire to the place of the white wire which is not used.

You could use the 1/2" valve & get 1/2" to 1/4" barbs. I stopped using the stainless valve & have been using this one. www.sprayerdepot.com/products/banjo-1-2-12v-full-port-electric-ball-valve

The one thing nobody mentions is the wire they use. Where are you finding the 12v insulated wiring. I can't seem to find anything that resembles what you're using. Everything I've ordered has been too thick of a gauge to fit in a connector for remote switch. This is the last thing standing in between me and returning everything lol Seems like such a simple thing but I'm not having much luck. Looks like maybe a 20 or 22 gauge?

I got it hooked up but cant figure out how to pair remote I pushed button on controller 3 times like instruction say but not working

I never had to pair my remote. It always worked out the box for me. What remote system did you order. Thanks

@@allproexteriorservicesllc5338 I got it working last night. I unplug it let it sit for 10 minutes and it started working. Also do you have Cashapp or Venmo I would like to send you a few dollars for your help this week.

This was a great video and I used it as a reference to wire mine, but it won't work. I even bypassed the power button, but nothing. Is there any common errors with this system?

The biggest error is you may have the wrong valve. You need the auto return valve. Thanks

@@allproexteriorservicesllc5338 I brought it inside last night and was jacking with it. I switched the input and output sides and it kicked on, but the button was staying on constantly while the remote receiver was active. I could turn it on and off with the remote, but when it was one, it was on. No matter if I had the button engaged or not. Do you have any idea why?

I've checked several times and have looked at your video several times. I ordered all new stuff yesterday. Ive wired up trailers and such before, so I'm not a know-nothing.
