Well, thank you for this video. I like it. Nice to see the MZ III being useful down under. But as for the title of this video I hate to have to correct you. It is only a minor part of the DSB MZ class history you are showcasing. Most of your old Danish pictures show MZ I and MZ II in action there, only a single one the MZ III, and none at all the MZ IV. The MZ IV is actually still going strong in Denmark for DB Cargo Scandinavia. And some MZ I/II are also still in service in parts of Scandinavia, most of them in Sweden. Back in their DSB days the I and II were actually more reliable than the III. That is why the "Helga"s had been standing still for several years at the DSB locomotive workshop in Copenhagen before they were exported to Australia.

Not the most attractive of locomotives, very European in shape, cab is very different too (wheel throttle), but all said and done, the Swedish did make good locomotives. Seen one out here a couple of weeks back at Timjelly.

I hate when people refer to the series as "Swedish" - the engines are American, license built in Sweden, the rest is Danish. The frame, the body, the bogies, the traction engines - Danish, not Swedish.
