All finished and probably 1 of the best you will see 😁I meant the side stand is painted not the spring lol. I have tried to keep as many olive bits as possible too :) I love bringing these MK1's back to life but the cost of parts and labour now outweighs their final value so I probably won't be doing another 1😉

Amazing work, I had a black Dt 125 LC in black back in '82.....loved it, wish I had one today

I once had a stolen and recovered DT , someone put new frame numbers on , you could tell it was off but police ran it through computer an it came back as a white escort van lol

@@nutjob2286 Hi Tony, Virtually every part on the 10V model is rare now. What colour is your bike ? I do know someone that has some parts but weather he will sell any of them is another thing lol If you let me know the colour I can ask him for you ;) Brass

Brass Bikes UK Hi thanks for the reply I am doing it black but have got everything now apart from the near side headlight bracket if you know of anyone who has 1 please let me know I am doing mine black down to preference but I think black is best colour I tell you what I do have for sale if you know anyone who wants 1 a genuine nos rear fender in white probably the only 1 left in Europe

@@nutjob2286 Hi, I thought the headlamp sits on a bracket on the front rather than left or right brackets ? Please let me know how much you want for the rear mudguard and also how much for your bike once its finished lol Cheers, Brass

watched all the videos on this dt. well done you did a good job on it. I have one to pick up this weekend. I was just wondering.. how much did it cost to do all that work? thanks. dan. ps. any good places you can share to get parts?

Sorry for the late reply Dan 11 months ffs lol KZfaq doesn't tell me I have a comment for some reason. The problem with this model is everything is expensive now. If you have all the parts it's not that expensive it's when you have to start buying stuff it get ridiculous. Cheers ;)

Hi. Any chance of some help? I am trying to find a left hand handlebar switch for a 10V Mk1 125 and cant find one anywhere. Is there another switch from another bike I could use? Cheers. ;)

Hi sorry for the late reply I have been very busy this week :) I have no idea which YAMAHA switches would be the same or similar as the 10V seems to be 1 on it's own for parts fitted. I would just keep searching UK / Europe on ebay and even if you can get a used 1 you may be able to make 1 good 1 out of what you have with any luck :) Sorry I can't help everything on the 10V is ultra rare now but France seem to have a few more parts than UK. Brass :)

Hi Mate, No worries, and thanks for the reply. I am actually in France and bought the bike here. Yes, the parts are pretty thin on the ground. Just proves how good they were. They just kept going until there was nothing left!
