This video demonstrates the system described in the paper, "DTAM: Dense Tracking and Mapping in Real-Time" by Richard Newcombe, Steven Lovegrove and Andrew Davison for ICCV 2011.
This is the first single passive camera system to demonstrate a complete dense 6DOF tracking/dense mapping pipeline for non parametric scene reconstructions.

How does this work on larger scales? Does it still work real-time and robust in the order of a room with a size of 10x10 meters?

Hi, it seems like the system can only be used in some limited region since you need multiple overlap views to build your initial dense map for tracking. So what if the new keyframe is different from the previous dense environment? I mean, how to update the dense map during the tracking?

there is a ton of stuff like this that always seems to just die in a corner some where, i would love to play with this and see if it dose have any real world uses, if your going to let it fade away please release the code,
