Fishing Bass Angler Magazines first kayak tournament on Lake Tulloch. It is getting warmer and these fish are moving up. Found a pattern during prefish, hopefully it holds up on gameday

I watch your videos religiously because I think you are one of the best fisherman out there. I would love to hear you articulate your decision making process a little bit why you switched between the crank-bait, lip-less, ned, shaky head.... Thanks for sharing very much appreciated.

Same. Cali bass are so tough but he seems to have them figured out. Damian, make a subscriber only series where you go more in depth. We are all willing to pay 🤣

Why are Cali bass so tough? There definitely is a difference between largemouth here and in Texas. I swear they eat anything in Texas.

@@CEN-Cali imo I think they’re just really pressured. We do not have nearly as much water bodies compared to most other states and I think that’s why they’re so hard to get because they’ve seen it all from other anglers.

Outstanding post-tourney commentary on what you did and why. I am not in CA at all - East coast actually, but super interested in learning how to be a better tournament angler and your comments during your videos explaining what your decision making is/was is very unique. Before tournaments I would always check how sharp my hooks were.. Maybe that's how you lost those two ??

I always check too, they were sharp, just the way they were eating it, I usually don’t have issue with hookup/land ratio on EWG but when they aren’t eating it well the round bend usually gets them
