Really good technique. Listen how she sang "such a cruel... world" with strength and how she sang second sentence (8th measure) "saving all my love for you ... girl" softening "girl" and for the rest of the song edgy, as opposed to a voice like Charlie Puth or Ed Sheeran, which are weak and soft. Zara Larsson would be in the middle. Dua has very varied singing skills

Donald Dita that is because female artists attract a lot of lesbian fans. Whereas male artists don't attract a lot of gay fans. Another thing is the fact that gay males are not NEARLY accepted as much as gay females. So if a male artist were to sing about a guy in a cover, he would be criticized by more than half of society. If a woman does it, it's seen as hot cause even straight guys get excited about girl on girl action.
