Hello all!
Dua Lipa's new album has inspired so many awesome bass covers on youtube (lets be real, we're all thinking about juliaplaysgroove) so I though I'd give it a go try to put my spin on one of her songs.
This is a bit more filly/flashy than I would normally play but it was fun for a change! Hope you enjoy :)

I listen to her since at least 10 years. She always had perfect timing and great creativity. But now she Is probably the best female bass player in the world. I listen to many other bass players but apart big names (mostly males) i did not find one that could equal her. As i said several years ago, she Is a she-Flea!!!

You both play very differently and there is no better or bit worse, you both add at so many parts wonderful dream-phrases, super wonderful extraordinary smashing nice personal style. I listened to juliaplsysgroove. She Is an excellent bass player too. But deppwaswho has something more. A cleaner sound and slightly more precise timing, and the enrichments are fuller. Her triplets are much better. Perfection (deppwaswho) compared to excellence (juliaplsysgroove).

Do it :) I got my bass 6 weeks or so ago and I am 46 with fingers in left hand damaged by arthritis. To my surprise my damaged fingers actually do well for playing bass, but first 2 weeks I was thinking this is hard and I will never learn... But then suddenly it got a lot more easy and now I think I will do ok with more practice and think it is not that hard anymore. Learning bass is fun and challenging.
