I’m so proud of you guys, this looks like so much fun! I got diagnosed a month ago with a hip impingement and labral tear, and have been told I can’t dance or be active hardly at all. I miss dancing with y’all through the screen so much, and I’m so excited for all the content y’all put out that I can catch up on after my surgery in three months! Keep up the good work booties, y’all are awesome and inspire me and so many others. ❤

Hi! I am a physical therapist. I don’t know your full situation but don’t give up. Did your doctor state that you can’t dance or be active ever again, or while you await surgery? I would expect just the latter and even then gentle tolerable ROMand exercise should be encouraged. Depending where your labral tear is, you just might want to avoid certain extreme motions of your hip. Most commonly you don’t want to hyper extend your hip. Hip impingement and labral tears are tough but you can get through it! I recommend seeking a therapist with a special knowledge of your sport/goals. Not all physical therapists or doctors are created equal. There are lots of modifications that can be made to get you back to your life! Good luck with surgery!

Will there be more tours in the future? I would like to attend the tour site closest to me, but it's a few hours drive and I have a suicide prevention awareness fundraiser the same morning of the tour date, and the time frames don't mesh well. Fingers crossed for more tours, but if not, I seriously hope everyone has an absolute blast!

I am crying in the club about not being able to attend the Chicago one (which is the closest but still 5 hours away) because I have kids and they sucked all my money for back to school... and by club, I mean on my couch. 😭😭😭 But, TFM - you, Haley, and Allison brought me out of the darkest part of my life.
