Takes a queen to reflect on all the negative criticisms, recognise where she has to improve, works hard to get better, and comes back with a vengeance. I’m glad she also doesn’t shy away from talking about her adversities - really inspires us all to do the same and that it’s not a crime to talk about our past or shortcomings, especially when we’ve worked hard to overcome them. What a great role model. Absolutely love Dua! ❤️

why does she need to improve her dancing? people don't have the same expectations for men. she shouldn't have to know how to dance "well" to become a good performer.
@roelin360 Жыл бұрын
@@pausaccone6586 I'm not gonna deny women are criticised more harshly in general, but in this case 1. Liam Payne was also memed on for having a basic bad dance, and his dancing still had more to it than hers. 2. If you're actually going to try to dance, then at least do the bear minimum. I don't get mad at like, Adele or most men for not dancing well because they don't even try to dance, so it's not applicable.

@@pausaccone6586 because the men make up for it by actually singing and playing an instrument. If you’re going to lip-sync, putting on a show is the only reason for you to be up on stage.
People need to stop trying to make dancing so complex that's why too many people are too embarrassed to dance. Dancing is an expression of joy. You dance to have fun so you dance how ever you like to hearts content and never let anyone tell you to stop!

Hating is easy, especially online where there’s no accountability. But she owned all that shit and pushed forward with it like a boss!
@orlandogloom54094 ай бұрын
Goes both ways imo, easy to care less about hate you get online by people who don't really know you. Of course you live each moment and take in something each time from each encounter, but come on, if you've been truly stepped on and disrespected IRL you know how to mostly laugh at (cheap, immature, and usually untrue, to say the least) insults on the internet... Won't analyze anonymity rn but imo that's not the issue. The issue lies in "why" every time (and each of us knows why they choose to hate and "be the change they want to see" in that way). But true thought is forbidden and everyone is taught to avoid it in order to "stay happy". At the same time, nobody likes comfort zone and convenience, vicious cycles etc. Nor double standards and confusion, and so on. Words, words, words, and empty at that. I'm obviously sick of this and the outcome of that whole direction, but it's not the best place to truly start analyzing things so I'll leave it at that for the most part; but, to make this on topic again, everyone with a brain does consider everything they hear/see and can filter it all in a balanced way, the rest can keep talking about confidence/manliness and positivity or whatever and be obsessed & in love with success, religion and anything that's a tool in the hands of exploiters in the big picture. I still don't know much about Dua Lipa but I heard something about a statement she made in an interview and I'd inform her I can tell she's not just attractive and a success story in the industry she chose to be involved (could see that before hearing half that statement while doing something else). What she does with all that fame in the long run, only time will tell (afaik she's already trying to bring awareness to certain sicknesses of society but yeah, I am not big in any kind of gossip, just casually curious about people's perspectives in general, and a bit picky about my artists). But again, this world will have to worry about actual problems instead of something that will be on a screen and have questionable impact on our lives (no disrespect to her or any normal famous and charismatic people... and we can all dream about meeting our favorite artists and marrying them or something, but that's ... unhealthy; but not as unhealthy as the real issues that we face and should be solving instead of maintaining). So, while I'm happy for such a bright person getting love and attention, I wouldn't say that she's been bullied or something. Never saw that meme, not huge in them either... But again, facing the internet's immature and hateful side isn't the real struggle. At least she grew up quite normally by the looks of things, or she wouldn't be able to think maturely now (not gonna mention names but most pop singers and "celebrities" in general, just like most people out there imo, got huge issues, regardless of how much I admire, or dislike, some of them).
@orlandogloom54094 ай бұрын
(yes, I'm aware I write too much sometimes, but I don't really care about it personally 😅 sharing a perspective on some things doesn't mean it's gotta be 2 sentences long, right? :P besides, a few people (bother to read and) agree each time...)
