People with different sizes of fingers will have trouble finding the right size, especially if it's between a man and a woman.

Both people would have to have the same size fingers. Although I wonder if there's a way to make custom puzzle rings with differing sized rings.

pretty late in the game but it seems like the main concept of the design is that the rings can be combined, but if the intent is to share the rings, then the original purpose of the design never comes to fruition

I think the problem is sharing between people of different ring sizes, of course one could wear it on a different finger...

i think one problem is that the rings have mirrored designs, and other is that if you share it with other person, both of the rings might scramble, as they arent as strong as the full structure. is that right?

the problem of sharing is that, The persons who have the rings are in different areas, they have no template of a created ring if they take theirs apart

Nice video, but I have a question. I just got one of these, but it has some kind of band on it, preventing me from splitting the rings. Uh, what do I do with it? Cut it off?

every time they take them of, they have to keep it from scrambling by putting the rings back together or stoRING them carefully. unless you want to solve the ring every time to put it back on.

The problem I see is that both rings have to be the same size, so unless both people wear the same size ring, it will not be comfortable for one person. Is there something else?

The fundamental problem with this ring design is that the person you would probably want to share it with most likely has a different sized finger than you. In fact, my first thought upon seeing this was "Oh man, I'd love to get one for my wife and I" and then quickly realized that we have two very different ring sizes.

if the parts are identical, it conflicts with most combinable jewelry where each half is different.

The fundamental problem is that you cannot really share it with anyone you like, because that person must be your exact size.

The couple will never be able to break up, because if they do they won't have the other person's example ring to reassemble their puzzle. Or they have to find another person who also has the ring!

No guys, the problem of the puzzle is that if two different people are wearing their respective rings, the puzzle cannot be completed because the can't be joined with fingers inside. Please reply, I'm wondering what the real answer is

maybe the half rings are too big for a persons finger for whom the full ring fits and chances are that the full ring will fit you. (too big coz each half ring has a part that is supposed to go under the other one)

My first thought is, since the the rings are identical, your half-ring would match with anybody's half ring, not necessarily your devoted partner's. Haha

The fundamental problem with this ring is that you would have to have huge ape fingers for the ring to stay on. It would slide right off a woman's finger for sure.

+Անթերի Համակարգիչ Metal puzzle rings are always made too big. When the puzzle is ordered, then the maker can cut and shorten the loops to size. For 3D prints, the solution is even simpler, as one can scale a ring to the ordered size with a single CAD command. But yes, you are right, my 3D-printed ring is too big for my finger. However, I do not wear rings anyway,puzzle or otherwise.
