This is the "Outside in the Rain" video with double subtitles visible at the same time (Norwegian + English). I'd love to get some feedback on this. Is this video useful or not? I'm thinking that I could publish two versions of every Speaking Norwegian video I put out - one with the subtitles that you can turn on and off, and one version with the double subtitles like this one. Would that be useful for you? Why/why not? Did you like it with white + yellow or would you prefer other colors? I will make a decision based on the feedback from you. 😊

I love these double subtitles, it's easier to watch, rather them just keep on switching between subs. The white and yellow subtitles seem just fine to me, they are not too flashy and easier to differentiate between each other. Tusen takk for videoen.

Please continue this. Double subtitles helps a lot in understanding. Yellow and white colour code is perfect.

I prefer the option to be able to turn the subtitles off. Especially because you speak very clearly, and I can usually understand a lot without the subtitles, so I like to try that before I view a video with subtitles. In fact, I think that for me, subtitles make understanding you a bit too easy. I think I learn more without them. That's just me though. everyone's in a different place with their learing.

I like the double subtitle version, as I can glance over the English text in case something is not 100% clear.

I think it's really helpful to put two subtitles at the same time like this one. Not only it helps me learn how to pronounce norwegian words, but it's also cutting my time to look for the meaning of some norwegian words I don't know yet.

I agree with you. Subtitles memang sangat membantu dalam mempelajari bahasa asing bagi pemula. We can see the relationship between pronunciation and spelling.

@@receivedSE Although, I am not entirely sure about what is written in non english sentences down there, but I think we're both agree that double subtitles are indeed helpful for us, non native norwegian speakers, to learn the language.

Jeg slet mye i begynnelsen, da det var veldig vanskelig å lære norsk, men jeg insisterte på å mestre det lett. Jeg er en russer som elsker Norge og har bodd der siden 2018 ❤🇳🇴❤🕆❤🇷🇺❤. Det norske språket ligner litt på tyrkisk i uttale og lyd!! .

Peder, this video helps me! When you say something, I can see how it is written in Norwegian spelling. I found something interesting: when you say "og", I do not hear the [g] sound. My ears only hear you say it [ɔːɐ]. the "g" disappears. Did I hear it right?

Yes, you're right! Often you will hear "å" instead of "oG", although you will definitely hear both.
