I owned a Kut Kwick SuperSlopeMaster for a while and the rear duals also stuck out farther than the 72 inch deck. It was rated for slopes up to 40 degrees and it would dog-track like this one was doing in the video on dry or sandy slopes. I would love to have had this mower instead. A standon gives you that peace of mind where you can just step off it if the ride gets too wild. Let alone you can probably buy 3 of these for what the SuperSlopeMaster costs.

I have a stander they are the best!

I have also noticed all my wright mower the hydraulics are overtorqued causing stability issues. I see having a stronger engine with a lower torque to give good control.

Nothing beats Wright. My oldest machines already have 6000hrs on them and still running strong. Made the mistake of buying a couple of v rides. Expensive mistake :-(

i have 3 zk 61 fuel injected they are already very very good in the slopes specially if you are experienced. nody has one around here i would like to get that 72 just cus it looks bad ass

Ed - Any further thoughts on whether you might actually release this dual wheel kit? Also, I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on a ZK 52 or 61 in the next week or so. Leaving the price difference aside, which engine would you go for? I hear people sometimes criticize the Kohler EFI, but its obviously supposed to have advantages over the carbureted Kawasaki, right? This is my first major lawnmower purchase, so grateful for any thoughts.

Hi Ed, I'm a very big guy and no one can answer this for me. Whats the max weight for the rider before the mower tips backwards. I have a 52" zero turn and its hard for me to get up on it with my bad knees.

Bet non-dually tweels with spacers would work as well or better. Don't see wheel spacers used for this problem, is there a reason? The flat cross-section of tweels interests me. Finally some "suspension" for these dead frame machines.

Lets just call it the Wright Mobile, it looks just like the bat mobile from the Dark Knight. I've cut on some serious slopes with 32" no injury's operator experience is key.

I'm only looking because I'm looking to start my business and compete commercially. I own a kabota 60in and I'm needing a little smaller to get through residential gates.

I voluntarily maintain a large property periodically using a 60 in" zero turn......this would b perfect because its practically endless grass, few obstacles.........be nice not getting jounced around, & its another foot of width......

Im thinking your mower is no doubt one of better lawn yachts ive seen and side hills are no problem but i havent found how you run your left/ right brake becouse sticking a mower to a side hill with out ANY slide ive found is to slow the uphill wheel slightly wich is applying the power mostly to the downhill side...feathering brake allows for some turn control while a diff. Lock does not...

I have a walkbehind for unsafe hills.

Extend the operators controls and platform back 1 foot and make it swivel (charge more for it) so the operators can choose to stand up straight while doing slopes.

honestly looks badass but I find it to be unnecessary if I need all that I don't need to even mow just the standard product should do just fine next thing you know they'll be putting license plates on them and turn signals

At 6:30 my Scag Tiger Cat II could ride that bank and NOT slide sideways. It doesn't matter what you do, if the front wheels are free wheeling casters then you're not going to get a mower to stick to the hill without crab walking.

those hills aren't very steep and its sliding like crazy.

That thing weighs a ton and you were slipping sideways on that little hill, as well you need a diesel in that beast.

Honestly this sounds like a good idea on paper but in person i don't see it being useful. For example it made little to no difference on the sloped area as it still slipped and the operator had a hard time keeping it in a straight line. I own wright standers for my business and love them but i bought them because there agile and can get into places better then say a walk behind or zero turn rider. this doesn't look agile and good for tighter areas which many mowing contracts are. Larger areas maybe but most companies would go with Sit down 72 inch riders cause they just make more sense then standing all day. Sure this machine has alot of power but power isn't always what we the consumers look for in a machine. we want something that makes sense for long hours of mowing so that our crews are efficient. I might be missing the point to this video but as an owner in the landscape industry i want a product that is best my crews and my clients and i simply don't see this mower as being useful. I know many people may like this and thats fine like i said a good idea but is it a practical idea for everyday mowing. I like that you guys as a company are coming out with new ideas but just cause it looks cool doesn't mean it will sell. Sorry for the long comment and thanks for the video.

Front mower... 4x4 with differential lock. Problem solved. A standing mower is leaving half the mower at home... the other axle! I regularly mow on hills some over 1/4 mile long similar to that at the end of the video with a John Deere F1145 with a 72" Lastec articulator deck. It has hydraulic weight transfer from deck to mower, four wheel drive and differential lock. I added 2" spacers to the axle with single 26x12 tires. I guarantee it will mow circles around anything lacking a second axle. Wanna mow head first straight down hill toward a pond and hang the mower out over the pond? Better not try that on a stander! On a front mower it is perfectly safe because you have 4 drive wheels on the ground from two axles with or without the deck on the ground. Plus you have a contour deck perfectly following the terrain! You have a lot of energy and good attitude, if you really want to provide a safe hillside mower, provide a 4x4 front mower.

Why not just add a 10-1/2 to the outside of the 12
