It's plenty strong. If you're going off of that Chevy commercial then you should get your news somewhere else because it's been proven fraudulent all over KZfaq. The aluminum bed is as durable as the Chevy steel bed and it is actually more dent resistant (thicker gauge) but the commercial plays off of clever editing/camera angles, scripted lines, and lighting. If you don't believe me look it up for yourself. Underneath all of that aluminum is more high strength steel than any of the other competitors because of the weight savings from moving to aluminum body panels. If it was too weak to be used in a heavy duty truck then how come Chevy and Dodge are going to be switching to aluminum? Smear all they want, it is better all around.

Not sure you realize that the higher the number on the rear end gearing generally means the slower the truck since the driveshaft must spin more to turn the tires. Actually, I'm not sure many people really understand gear ratios at all. Interesting.

if I was hired as a mechanic today and my first vehicle I had to fix was a F350 and I pop the hood to see all that shit my reaction would be along the lines of ( fuck this shit I quit.)
