Crazy because I'm using my Dualsense edge on my old Ps3 and the backbuttons work perfectly.

@GearsandTech Nevermind lol. They were working perfectly. I disconnected it from my ps5, put it in sync mode, paired it to my ps3, had to disconnect my ps3 controller and hook my edge up by USB cable and the backbuttons were working perfectly. But then it auto shut off my edge after not playing for a bit. When I turned the edge controller back on, the backbuttons no longer did anything. When I hooked it back up to my ps5, it showed that it somehow reverted back to the original profile where the backbuttons weren't set up. Weird.

@@vinnyvanderlaan7353 Could be because the stupid overpriced idiotic controller gets stained yellow with the slightest bit of sweat on its dumbass rubber grips. That and you can mod a regular dualsense for much less. Lol

Have you tried using gyro aiming with the dual sense? Maybe a game that supports MnK it could be done

You can connect your P2 headset on your xbox controller while playing with PS controller to have audio!

Yes, there is a program for your pc that let's you save the settings for the dse. I forget what it's called. But it works good

Adaptative triggers doesn't work ? I just bought a serie x for starfield and the xbox controller is horrible. The left and right buttons are too close the feeling is 0. I want to know what kind of device I need to connect my dualsense and I heard that the Adaptative trigger are not working since the xbox version of the game doesn't have the options.

If you hardwire the dualsense edge to the brook usb stick will the headphone sound work? If I mainly play on xbox would you recommend the dualsense edge or the xbox elite 2 controller instead? I kind of wanted to stick to PlayStation so if I play my ps5 that I can just use one controller between the two. Thoughts?

If youre used to PS5 controller I would use this method to keep using it across all platforms. When I game on my PC I still use the PS5 controller. I find it hard to switch between different ones. Headphones wont work no matter how you connect. you have to get wireless ones. There are some Steelseries that work on both Xbox and PS5.

@@GearsAndTech Sounds good. I might go with an xbox elite 2 controller since the sound wouldn't work on the ps5 controller if I plug it in the 3.5mm port. I do have a soundblaster usb card that would plug directly into the ps5. I'm assuming the sound would work then but it wouldn't be plugged in to my controller. Thanks for your help sir👍

Hey have you considered that the modding community will start to customize dual sense edge controllers in aftermarket to include features such as 4 paddles? I'm seeing they are already starting to do this with the faceplates. Just occurred to me and it would really be awesome because I think that would solve most peoples controller dilemma with the 5

@@GearsAndTech I found someone online who has created a prototype of a modded dual sense edge. They sent me video and photo of the sample. They’ve added back buttons to the lower grip of the edge. Really excited for this to be popping up more. More than 2 paddles with swappable or Hall effect joysticks is all a lot of gamers want for their 5.

It automatically saved it to the controller when you use the ps5 If you use the pc app it should be the same

I love both Xbox and Playstation, but nothing will ever come close to the PS4 controller and now the Dualsense. MS really doesn't know what the term ergonomics means when it comes to controllers. It's loud and cheap feeling.

I’m playing some old call of duties on Xbox and I prefer using my bumpers to aim and shoot instead of my triggers. If I connect the dual sense edge controller to my ps5 and remap my bumpers and triggers, will it transfer to my Xbox??

Just to be sure, I don’t own a ps5. The settings I use on dsx will automatically transfer? my biggest fear is buying the Xbox and it doesn’t work. It runs games so much better than the ps5

I bought the dsx on steam to use with the wingman converter. when I launch the dsx software app I map the back paddles , works on the dsx app then I take it to the Xbox with wingman converter , connects fine but the paddles won’t work

Im having the same issue I got the dsx on steam and the paddles work there. I set the lights to change colors and it works on the app but when I play on the series x , the paddles won’t function and the lights stay blue

I got it to work only by doing it by a ps5 , I just mapped the paddles the dead zone etc and I hooked it up with the Xbox it worked fine luckily my nephew had a ps5 I think the dsx is only for pc

Xbox doesn't fit my hands I play bumper jumper flipped on cod with ps controler and its so weird and uncomfortable for me as I play half claw ps5 controller all the way this is amazing I have xbox series x as I could not get a ps5 anywhere at the time
