There isn't one. Speed measurement is based on motor RPM.

I'm not sure how to answer that. I bought a mini lathe so I could machine parts as needed. I then bought or made a couple of add-ons for it so I could do the motor venting work. Is that part of the "cost"? If so, that's stuff added about $3000 to the City. I used Panasonic 18650B cells that I bought in 2019. I believe I paid $3.40 per cell or $925 for the cells in the scooter. Controllers were $100 each. Davega LCD, $120. Other stuff...screws, connectors, wire, nickel, bms, LEDs, etc...another $200 to $250.

@@carstoniu I didn't upgrade becasue something went wrong. I bought it knowing I'd upgrade it. I generally have low expectations of most EV's. The City was not impressive and I did 2 videos about that. I bet if I did get a cyberscoot, I'd be looking to upgrade/mod it too! I'm sure there are things about it that I'd want to improve. *** There are 2 mindsets about EV's. I buy stuff for the platform so I can build what I want out of it. The other mindset is to buy something and use it as is. That second mindset is simply not me. There's no creativity in it, no challenge, nothing more than laying down a credit card and riding away on a scooter. This is a lot like bragging about having a fast Tesla. Well great, what exactly did you do? Oh right...made car payments. The guy with a conversion project that he built in his garage, he has something to brag about! He did the work and built something that didn't exist before. I'm that second kind of person. Hence the massive rework of my Dualtron City.

That's quite doable. I haven't done one yet, but it's on the list...just do a full walk through of VESCtool in several videos.

@@de-bodgery id be very grateful since im using a 75100 also. i cant find any of the dualtron motor specs witch is making it very hard i can get it spining at 5amps (going to 160kph) but as soon as u put load on it. it doesnt move// when i put more amps to it the motor just makes sounds and twitches do u know how many poles ur motor is? i have a fully custom spider lmt so i know how u feel and feel the same. i like to make my things unique and one off too or if u could send me ur setup for UUID id be head over heals lol

@@carstoniu you will never find Dualtron motor specs anywhere. They don't publish this info and best you will get is the wattage specs for the scooter from them! My City hub motors are 15 pole pairs. No idea if that is true for other motors from Dualtron. They don't make the motors, just buy them from some other source. Your motor issue sounds like a setup problem, but what exactly, that I can't say. *** It's much too late now, but it would have made for a good video back when I had my City motors taken apart to record everything about them in a video. I'd have to take apart far too much stuff to do it now.

@@de-bodgery to count the poles you count the mag strips on the outside correct? mine has 20 so 40 poles.. and i didnt mean your wiriing setup as much as your config in vesc tool im so close.. the wheel spins at 5amp the speedo says its doing 160, but as soon as loas is applied it stops.. any suggestions? if i increase the current the motor just shakes and makes horrible sounds is there a way i can send u a pic?
