DUBAI - A different side | GOLD SOUK, MEENA BAZAR, DUBAI CREEK, AL SEEF

Dubai - its not just about Burj Khalifa, tall buildings and Dubai Mall and shopping. It's also about Old Dubai - Bur Dubai, the Dubai creek, Al Fahidi Sou, Abra and more. In this video I toured all of these heritage spots in Dubai in a single day. Here are all the places I visited:
Started with Meena Bazaar in Bur Dubai. This place is known for it's gold shops, perfume shops and also for a variety Indian food places in Dubai.
Passed along Dubai Museum and the BUR DUBAI Mosque
Then explored Bur dubai Souk.
Moved on to the Abra ride to cross over to the other side of Dubai creek.
Explore the spices souk and the gold souk. Dubai gold souk had me spell bound. The number of shops, the varieties were way too much. Easily the biggest gold market ever!
Then I went to explore Al Seef - a heritage village of sorts. This extends all the way up to Bastakiya and definitely shows a different side to Dubai. Highly recommend the Dhow cruise for a fun evening.

Helo . Me.just shifted frm Dubai aftr staying for 20 yrs.I was staying in Burdxb near Al Seef Creek area. Infact missing entire Uae.including Deira Naif mkts, Abu Dhabi Grand Mosque.Jebel Hafeet..Marvellous country.Missing every aspect of it including Arabic food hummus.falafel shawarma .what a fun shopping there in during DSf and 90%discounted sales..All brands available ...V,neat .systematic,amd organised place.Miss U dubai😙

We explored these areas... A lengthy walk May be but whole of the area is worth visiting....its really a nice experience. We took the abra simply to experience and its 1AED ..we took it to and forth...

Great vlogging of old Dubai👍 I love shopping in those areas. The audience should be aware that Meena Bazaar perfumes are mostly dupes, international brands selling for 50dh or less instead of 250-300dh for the regular retail! From my experience they have no staying power and the composition and settling fragrance differs from the real thing. For me personally, they are not worth it. Rather go for original on sale in malls or go for genuine smell alikes branded perfumes from M&S, Zara etc

I would add, go for the Arabic oil over perfume. I have oils from 2014 (my last visit) and they still smell pretty good. I believe the small bottle is no more than 10 us dollars.

cost of gold you can actually search it online. But its not allowed to bring too much gold jewellery back to india due to customs. and in terms of design, i think Dubai is far better because they have a lot more variety
