What is the difference between passport issue country and passport place of issue?

The issuing country is your nationality (the country that gives the passport). The place of issue can be any city (even outside this country). For eg. if passport is issued at Indian Embassy in Doha, place of issue will be Doha and issuing country will be India.

we got the visa rejected and they said that "You have to write your father's name as middle name" first time i hear that middle name should be Father Name, any one can guide us.

Hi Yashpal, The UAE visa system needs three names and if you have only two names you can use father's name as the middle name. It is OK to have same name as middle name and last name.

Hi, A Unified Tourist Visa has been agreed by all countries. But implementation will be in 2024 only. More details are yet to be announced. Not that it is for visiting, not for residence or work.

Hi, If you ask their helpline they would advise you to apply through GDRFA only if you are travelling to Dubai. For other emirates, you have to apply through the ICP website. This is the official procedure. However, in practice, travellers who use this visa to travel to other emirates are normally allowed entry because this visa is valid for the whole country.

i am from pakistan but lived in saudiarabia and still have 1 year valid id if i can apply evisa using my id do i need to travel to gcc countries or i can travel to another country as well like i have a travelplan to visit Georgia then azerbaijan and then dubai after i go to pakistan and come back to saudi arabia can i do that or i need to travel from one off the gcc countries i am little confused can u help me with that.

Hi Faizan, If you are travelling using a GCC Resident's Visit Visa, sometimes your airline will not allow you to board from a non-GCC country. So it is better that you confirm this with the GDRFA helpline on their website (there is a chat option on the contact page). If you take a normal tourist visa you can travel from any country (even if you are a GCC resident).

All types of Hayya visas are delayed nowadays. Most of them take 3-4 weeks.

Hi Mohnish, As per the official Visit Qatar website EU residents can get visa on arrival. However some airlines may not allow you to board as this is not clearly mentioned on their reference websites. Hi, there is no announcement regarding Hayya With Me for Indians. It has been Suspended for many months now. If you are asking about Hayya Tourist Visa, there was a delay since last month but it is getting approved now. For Hayya Tourist Visa there is no restriction on Indians.

Hi, Please ask your husband to check if the apply family visit visa option is showing on the Metrash mobile app. If the employment contract is not updated sometimes it will not show. If it is showing he can get a salary certificate from the company and try applying.
