Agree on the 'luck' plays important role. However, hitting multiple hit-the-tape shots usually were because players aimed for good tight net shot as well. Those who played safe often hit way above tape, or lack of skills of confidence, hit way below the tape. So, hit once, it was luck. Multiple of it? Credit to the 'aim-for-perfection players. You either hit the tape, or below the tape. Well taken risk.

Sun yu was actually a monster. She beat TTY and CTF who have ranked top 2 in 2020. But, i didn't know how come she got injured along with li xue rui until they retired in very young age

@@Taiwanese11166 I think the person above KNEW Tai Tzu Ying is Taiwanese That's why she said "she is a wall against Chinese players" She probably meant, Tai Tzu Ying, being a non China team Is a strong force that hinders the dominance of China. Something like that.

Omg;Yu has smashed 3 real tough players before reaching here! And here she is facing the toughest of them all! Why is it so? ...I think it is so because the hammer needs to be very strong and heavy to demolish a 6ft erect concrete wall!

nobody could make sure their shots hit the tape. and none of the players aim for the tape during matches. Luck does exist. Bad luck can make players lose matches(Tai lost to Sung Jihyun yeasterday) and good luck can make them win(she beat Sun Yu today).

Chye Heng yeah,it's risky to try to aim close to the net. hitting the tape for multiple times rarely happens. Usually players' drives and smashes bounce over the tape for at most for 2 or 3 times in a singles game of 2 sets.

Sun Yu is a good athlete. Pity that she has to retired at the age of 24 due to knees injury.

That is why in recent badminton, They are giving now strong emphasis on the importance of physiotherapy. Look at team Taiwan in particular, Tai Tzu Ying has a dedicated professional Physiotherapist in her team, and this made her longevity to play at optimal level longer. Also with Chou Tien Chen, He is always with his Physio, considering CHou is now 30 years old, but he can still fight head to head against young and energetic players. This Physio concept is also being taken seriously by the Japanese team I believe.

I feel the pain of the chinese player. Some are born prone to injuries and some are born "lucky". I have a lot of problems with my joints and there are so many people who are indifferent to their health and plays more intensively than i do yet somehow manage to escape injuries. There are certainly genes that determines the physical adequacy for playing badminton. But there's no room for whining about "genes", rather, work out the best ways with what we are born with.

紅衣對手我看很多場了他們都喜歡打多拍讓戴自己出現失誤, 曾看過一場小戴去大陸打的比賽, 對手也是孫瑜講解主持人是對岸的人, 都在說小戴都不愛跟對手打多拍, 其實真正厲害的人就是不愛打多拍的丫! 靠的就是要多變化多角度讓對手無力招架且失誤連連,才是造就比賽的精彩度, 不是嗎?! 厲害的人就是要像小戴這樣的! 而不是靠多拍等對手失誤輸球, 不然哪會精彩...

@@wblacklu 我也看了那場，球評真的講評真的不怎麼樣。如果球員都想打保守球等對方失誤，是誰想看這種無聊的比賽! 戴從以前到現在都是主動攻擊型選手，而且精彩度從不讓人失望。
