Humm, after 5 months of ownership I thought it would be worst to be honest, I think I am lucky that I found a really good and reliable Indie mechanic where I live and he charges me a really cheap price for anything that happens to it. I did an oil change and disc skimming for 544$ (Incl Labor), just yesterday change the AC condenser and added gas for 140$ (incl Labor), also had to change a vacuum hose that was loose for 120$ (Incl Labor), also had a check engine light happen due to the gas cap not being turned all the way after a fill up. I have to say they are sensitive cars but in terms of the mechanical components it feels like it will last forever. Also few things that are extremely common in all Maseratis (Even the mechanic is saying that Maserati does it on purpose to have the Ac vent thingy (to switch the direction of the air) fall off, some of the leather and other plastics components are slightly sticky (Due to the Dubai sun, but the previous owner took really good care of it so its not that bad, I could pay 370$ to have it all reworked). Ha, will also change the coolant tank because of a tiny tiny leak (Better safe than sorry), that will run me around 180$ (Incl Labor). For comparison purposes the infinity dealership were charging me 2.5x more for mechanical issues with my g37 s 2008... goodluck with your next purchase! would you mind answering the same question you asked regading AMG, would eventually love to own a c63 one day but can't seem to find a clean one in Dubai.

greveeen yes, in most cars, when they have gcc specs they will have that sound. Some are set at 120 and others you can change

hs ns I was going to say the same! It can be confirmed by looking at the engine top which should have blue coating instead of red for the 4.7. Thus I stipulate the car is NOT the GranTurismo S but the normal entry level GranTurismo without S and with 405 PS instead of 440+ PS with S.
