A blessed and happy St Patricks Day to you all. I am an Englishman by birth, my genetic makeup is 56 percent Munster, my father was a Limerick man, My mother a Londoner, eternal memory. Since I was old enough to raise a glass of the black stuff, I have always raised a toast to dear St Patrick, and always sought his blessing, as did my parents. We so need his help today, both in England and Ireland. Dear St Patrick pray for us.

Its the biggest celebration of the feast of Saint Patrick Day in Ireland. I am proud today that so many years I never have these opportunity to assist the celebration. If I had not been there. Today it was very common to me and others people as well I love that feast of Saint Patrick Day was so exciting and amazing. Well Done Ireland we all cheers for the country. hisham ahmed Ah yes, I knew the parades were canceled this year. I hope this coronavirus issue will be settled down as quickly as possible. Still, I enjoyed a lot of St. Patrick’s Day videos this year 😊☘️!

There was objections to the ‘gay’ parade this year. Some people had a problem with children being exposed to drag. Drag being normalised as though that’s the Paddy’s day parade we all remember but it’s not. The people objecting were blocked from getting close to the media and watching eyes of the world by the so called Guardians of the peace. The unity is now for the tourists and the foolish Irish who still don’t get it. Unity is in this case an illusion. The Paddy’s day parade is for the first time ever causing disagreement among the Irish. This disagreement has begun this year 2023 🇮🇪🇮🇪

I've seen marching bands from the US in your parades, but never a HBCU one. If you want to give your country a real show, out there for the parade and an exhibition performance you should invite 1 or 2 over to participate. Maybe NC A&T (they have the Coldsteel Drumline) or Bethune Cookman marching bands.

As far as I know all bands are welcome. Most bands are sponsored and raise funds to come over.

The #Stpatrick #Stpatricksday parade is no longer suitable for children. Those of us who grew up going to the parade remember Irish dancing and Irish music, marching bands and the floats. Now the parade features men dressed as women. It promotes and normalises it. This is not a suitable spectacle for innocent minds. #Ireland is not for grooming children. The parade used to be for children, now it’s for a minority who live alternative lifestyles, each to their own but it has no place in schools, public libraries or the Paddy’s day parade. #Saveourchildren
