Fantastic, my Dad was a docker in late 50s early 60s his name was Liam O'Brien .my mother lived in craton st her name was Nora Berry she had 9 brothers and 2 sisters .if anyone has old photos I would love to see them as I dont have any and would be very grateful.

I thought this was so interesting...primary source history. I loved hearing the stories.Were the dockworkers not needed in the 70's when the containers started being used?

Hello there could you get back to me if you're know Billy geoghegan he work on the docks all his life he was from sheriff Street he had an accident on the docks he was nearly killed but he survived could you get back to me if you know or heard of him he has now passed on god rests his soul🙏 I would love to hear back from anybody who has any photographs of him I would love to see our history because we have no photos of him when he work in the docks my father's brother my father the only 2 left out of his family of 12
