Rubber Ducks on cruise ships is a "thing" now. People leave them around the ship for others to find. I think the ports realize this and are picking up on this trend.

I had a 3 hours in Dubrovnik.. my travel companion wanted to go up on the cable cars, she did that and I had an hour walking around Dubrovnik on my own and it was blissful.. I bought a sandwich and sat on the harbour and people watched, then went to the Christmas shop for souvenirs… glad you got some time to your self … it’s gorgeous isn’t it 😊

Croatia is one of those places that is good for the soul. Old town Dubrovnik is breathtaking-- a step back into medieval times. So wonderful that it has been preserved almost intact. This is a beautiful video that makes me want to go back.

I explored Dubrovnik by myself years ago. We had a kayak excursion but the sea was rough that day & I was having back issues. So my husband did the kayak adventure while our tour guide took me to a shop & got me a map. He explained where I should go. It was so much fun, until I realized I had no Euros on me to use the public restroom. Love your videos & also love that you appreciate the beauty of the world. Michell from Colorado!

Thank you for sharing! Rubber ducks are a travel fad. I’ve seen a display case of found ducks in the Frankfurt Germany Airport. Oncruise ships, people leave ducks for others to find.

When we travelled to Amsterdam, we came across a rubber duck store. We loved it. I wish I would have bought more. I bought a Pokémon, Darth Vader and Resistance (Star Wars) ducks. My granddaughter loves them. Croatia looks beautiful. It is on our bucket list.

I think I thought the ducks were a cruise ship thing 😂 On Carnival it was a game…people brought ducks to hide and then when you find it you re-hide it.

Huge fan of Hannah unfortunately I’m not a fan of the layout of rocks in the new pond. I just feel it’s more a distraction of rocks and it should be more for the fish. Such a large rock pond that could have been so much better. Good Luck Hannah

What a beautiful excursion! I know you've mentioned being a crew observer before, but what does that mean as far as your responsibilities for the day - do you have to rate them or monitor them or something?

The Duck thing has been going on at least a couple of years.Always fun to find them,but I tend to leave them for others to find.Some KZfaqrs attach a little card with their channel name on.Great way to advertise!

Rubber ducks are not really a Croatia thing, I believe they are only sold where cruise ships dock. Since people like to buy them and hide on the ships. Also, them paying for you, now that is a Ex-Yugoslavia thing or a Balkan thing. Especially if a woman is in company of man, thats just what we do 🤷🏽‍♀️

I have been working for an airline for 6 months now, I do get the privilege to travel, but I am so anxious to travel by myself. My dream is to travel the world with my husband, but I end up with more schedule flexibility than him. Do you ever feel unsafe traveling alone?
