BEHIND STORY:
Burden and Jenny divorced years ago due to domestic violence, with Jenny gaining full custody of their children. Burden struggled with severe mental illness and alcoholism, often experiencing depression and erratic behavior.
Jenny, a young mother, fiercely loved her son, Ryan, and considered him her whole world. After the divorce, they remained connected due to their shared farm business, which provided financial support for Jenny as a single parent.
Six-year-old Ryan suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) stemming from his experiences with his abusive father. Burden desperately hoped for Ryan's return, offering advice and promises, but the boy remained wary, fearing another outburst of his father's uncontrollable rage.
Tragically, those fears materialized. In a fit of madness, Burden lost control and hurled a rock at Ryan's head (while offering Ryan for his return but not work), inflicting fatal injuries.
Driven by remorse and grief, Burden sought out Jenny's house...

バーデンとジェニーは数年前に家庭内暴力が原因で離婚し、子供たちの親権はジェニーが持つことになった。バーデンは重度の精神病とアルコール依存症に苦しみ、しばしばうつ病を発症し、常軌を逸した行動をとっていた。
若い母親であるジェニーは、息子のライアンを激しく愛し、自分のすべてだと思っていた。離婚後も、ふたりは農業を共にしていたため、つながりを保ち続け、片親のジェニーの経済的な支えとなっていた。
6歳のライアンは、虐待を受けた父親との体験からくる心的外傷後ストレス障害（PTSD）に苦しんでいた。バーデンは必死にライアンの復帰を願い、アドバイスや約束をしたのに、ライアンは父親の抑えきれない怒りが再び爆発することを恐れ、警戒し続けた。
悲劇的なことに、その不安は現実のものとなった。バーデンは(ライアンに復帰を求めながら無理で…)我を忘れてライアンの頭に石を投げつけ、致命傷を負わせた。
自責の念と悲しみに駆られたバーデンは、ジェニーの家へむかった...

Burden và Jenny ly hôn khá lâu vì bạo lực gia đình, quyền nuôi con thuộc về Jenny. Burden bị bệnh tâm lý nặng và nghiện rượu, ông thường bị trầm cảm và không kiểm soát được hành vi của minh.
Jenny là một cô gái trẻ yêu thương con trai và luôn xem cậu ấy là tất cả. Vì công việc làm ăn ở trang trại hai người vẫn giữ liên lạc sau ly hôn. Công việc này giúp người mẹ đơn thân có đủ tiền để nuôi dưỡng con cái.
Ryan chỉ mới 6 tuổi cậu ấy bị sang chấn tâm lý (PTSD) từ người cha toxic của mình. Cha cậu luôn tìm mọi cách và mong cậu trở về bên ông nhưng không thể. Tuy là được cha khuyên bảo và hứa hẹn nhưng Ryan không tin, sợ một ngày vì cơn điên ông ta sẽ g.i.ế.t Ryan.
Không may đó là ngày đó chính là ngày hôm nay, ông ta đã lên cơn (khi đang khiến nhủ Ryan nhưng không thành) và ném một cục đá vào đầu làm cậu bé c.h.ế.t vì mất máu.
Sau khi cơn điên qua khỏi ông ta đã đến nhà Jenny…
