the only reason they put springs on the V4 turismo is because the valve train maintenance on a bike essentially dedicated to tourism. they will NEVER drop the desmo technology wich make any ducati race engine unmatchable.

The Desmo system was developed at a time when valve springs didnt allow for high revs. Times have changed.
