Since when did shifting gears get so hard to do. I like clutch and throttle work. It's part of riding. Eventually you all will want to hop on close your eyes and enjoy the ride while sipping tea.

just rode this back to back from the ktm 1290 superduke gt on street and had a completely different experience. duc had way more noticible and in your face power, handled significantly better and had more of a giggle factor than the ktm. I found myself thinking about trading in the zx10 .... until i saw the price tag R.I.P lol I would really love to hear a comparison between the 1200 R and Yamaha FZ 10 :D Really like the channel btw

Visual quality and editing are great, but here's a couple of suggestions for the sound quality. First, get the speakers miked better. The volume and clarity is different for both at present. Ie. Bvg is louder and clearer. Second, get the van (?) fitted for sound with some mufflers. At present, it sounds like you are in a box. Minor comment, the interviewee here is chewing some words, which makes it hard to understand everything. Love the effort you put in and the direction you are taking. HTH.

How does the Ducati Monster 1200R compare to the other top nakeds? Why do the other testers not include this bike in their comparisons? Thx.

I get what you guys are saying but adding a quickshifter adds to the cost. My guess it was remove or not added to make sure they hit the target price range. Let me know if you do not feel that way.

cool. kind of looks like the front is just hanging there on the red model . seems weird for an italian form over function sort of machine. thats not to say i dont like it i do. but the black paint helps sort that out for me.

I like Ducati's, I just won't buy one.

I rode a new Monster 1200S last week and I was seriously disappointed. It was twitchy, grabby etc. It needed 3500 rpm just to get rolling, but at 4500 rpm it went like a raped ape out of a slingshot. My old SV650 was much stronger on the bottom which was totally unexpected. Very comfortable though. I think there must have been something wrong with my sample, or it just wasn't broken in since it had 22 miles on it. Very strange. I switched to a 2016 Speed Triple R afterwards, and it felt like the nicest bike in the world after getting off the Monster. It's too bad because I love the way it looks and they were giving me a great deal on the Monster.

Not a Monster guy, but I can appreciate it for what it is. Underpowered? There’s no reason for 99% of Monster owners to need more than 160 hp. If you want more, then you need to get of a girly naked bike and move up to a proper sport bike.

Would you please learn how to mic up guys, its so bloody frustrating - but wouldnt be if I didn't like the work so much otherwise. Puhleeeeeeease mic properly.
