Your lines are so off on track

Ib, at 8:15 you mention how much you dislike that corner. You tense up and then if you look in the reflection of yourself in the dash, your head is still dead center. I'm not fast, something that helped me grow through the corners that freaked me out was a mindset change. That corner that got you all messed up... show it who is boss. Really force yourself to relax and get moved inside the bike. start with just your head. After you literally and mentally get your head in the right place the result will be conquering that voice that says you might crash, as well as a faster safer corner. It's not easy. Best of luck man.

The V4R is an interesting thing on track. It's fast, very fast, don't get me wrong. But it's not the _easiest_ bike to ride very fast on the track. It's a lot of force, and it's stiff (for a road bike). It doesn't forgive, at all, but more admonishes you for not being a better rider. A true professional can wring all kinds of performance out of the bike, and can really use all of the bike's long legs. The Panigale is amazing quick, but I think there are other literbikes that are easier to go fast on, but perhaps not as rewarding. The Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory would be a fascinating bike to ride on the track. It almost wouldn't surprise me if times were slightly quicker, for us mere mortals, that is. Regardless, you look like you had a blast, and we all enjoyed watching it.

Just my observation. You start turning in too early on every corner and bc of that you are losing momentum when coming out of the turn. The sounds that come out of the v4r are incredible.i cant wait to start track riding next year.

You better stay straight line racing .This is not your cup of tea.

Great commentary 650ib. You are the best at that, and I think it's your signature style. Great ridding too. Left handers off camber are tough. 130+ MPH top speed; NJMP you can touch 166MPH on the back straight. Thanks for inspiring us all to get on the track again!!!

Sup, its your good buddy, TrenC21 here :) your lines are a bit messed up bud, but i know you're working on it...i think a good prep for a track, is to just do some homework on the turns...so you can judge where your apex's are, and then in your first lap or 2, use it for sighting to mark that out for yourself on the track...then each lap, push a lil harder and find your braking markers for each corner...having the right into the corner will help you carry a lot more speed in, through and out the corner... also, how are you mounting your camera and what action cam are you using ? im looking to replace my current action cam...with something that had stabilization.

There is a lot for you to work on, and it’s clear you are still learning the bike. I would highly suggest taking some 1 on 1 coaching. You mentioned this is the inters group, but in all honesty this would be the beginners group in the UK.

if you put a moto gp bike vs a top sports stock street bike but use the same professional rider the lap time difference would be 2-4s so yeah investing in yourself as far as knowledge and skill is much more important than flashy aftermarket parts

Great video, but you have to get a little more confidence when making the turns, the Ducatis are very risky in the curves, so taking 100% of them will take a little longer, but even so I've seen a lot of evolution compared to your old track days. !

I've criticized Ib in the past on his track day performance, anyone can ride fast on a straight road, but I gotta admit, ma man's getting better at this. Give him a bit more time and he'd be crushing those corners.
